Fox Run Medium Turner/Spatula, Stainless Steel, 12-Inch, Metallic

I bought this for jigsaw puzzling, to scoop up pieces that are put together before attaching them inside the frame. It works well and is a sturdy product.

Nicely made and advertised as a fish spatula but is more versatile than that, can do a lot. Works better on a low-sided griddle pan and not on a tall-sided skillet pan. Use a pastry brush and a few drops of oil to reduce the stickiness of this stainless steel spatula, yes, stainless steel pots, pans, and utensils have stickiness.

Like the width and sturdy construction, The thickness of the blade seems to “push” a meat patty. So I need to brace the other side of the patty with a blocking spatula so the meat patty doesn’t slide and crumble.

The quality is great, we are ordering another one to be used for our outdoor griddle. Many others we have tried bend easy, handles are not solid. This has a great solid feel.

Not 100% sure if this is stainless or what grade stainless, it's not stamped on the steal. This is something they usually do to stand out from other products. I have to say the weight, design and feel is perfect. It's NOT a BBQ size spatula and NOT a spatula to keep your hands away from heat. As you can see in the pics the handle is nice and low giving you a good grip and feel for working with eggs. However, this became my favorite spatula immediately. I use it for egg dishes, pancakes, pan seared steaks and burgers. The handle is a full tang and feels like a smaller diameter professional knife in your hand. The only issue for me which is personal preference, the corners of the spatula are not rounded as much as I would like for getting into the corner of the pan....but even so, it still does this better than expected.

I have no idea how to review a turner/flipper/spatula, but I'll give it a try. As mentioned before, it does have a good weight to it. It's not flimsy at all so you can mash with it. While you wont be slicing tomatoes with it, it does have a nice clean edge for breaking up food in the pan as it's cooking. It cleans easily and looks nice hanging on the wall. It works great for cutting and serving brownies and lasagna. Ultimately it does exactly what you'd think it should do, and it does it well. The price is good for the quality. And I will more than likely look to other Fox Run products in the future based on my experience with this turner.

Good spatula a little on the thin side durability around a 6.. The sharp corners make it a niche utensil. I've had it for a couple of months and I've probably used it five or six times

Perfect for cast iron cooking: Straight beveled front edge, rounded corners. Feels durable. Only downside is durability of handle; it's going to bubble or melt if you let it get close to flame. So don't do that. Otherwise, the handle seems fine. Other commenters have mentioned that the blade is somewhat sharp. This is true, but it's only about as sharp as a butter knife. Also make note that it is not dishwasher-safe, despite being made of stainless steel. ("Stain-less", as they say -- not stain-proof.) I'm getting a second one as a backup because this is the only product I've found that meets all my criteria for a good spatula.

Bought this for using my cast iron pan in general and making smash burgers. Plastic and silicone spatulas bent too much to really squish the burger. This works perfectly for cast iron and pressing meats.

Very stiff flipper. Well built. Good for solid foods, not so good for delicates.

Too bad about the finish wearing so quickly. It seemed very well made otherwise, so if you don't care about spotting on it it's a good spatula.
