About four years ago, I bought an excellent sleep mask that was discontinued on Amazon. I looked high and low for a mask that worked as well and bought 4 different types, but could not find one that fit as nicely or felt as good. My last search involved scrutinizing the up-close images of dozens and dozens of masks. None of them matched the type that was discontinued. Then I saw this one... Looking closely, I could see that it was shaped exactly the same way. It had the same specific type of padding on the nose bridge, the same deep cups, and the same shape on the upper and outer edges. It was the only one that matched the discontinued mask. These also improve on those older ones by replacing the velcro with an adjustable clip. I'm completely satisfied with these masks. I suspect sleep masks are somewhat personal because everybody's face has a different shape, but this one totally blacks out the light for me. It is completely comfortable and fits lightly and easily.

Overall, this is a pretty good product in my opinion and is a good value for cost. The mask doesn't make me overly hot or sweaty. I like not being kept awake by nightlights and this definitely helps to reduce light into to my eyes. I received the product pretty quickly after ordering which was also great. Definitely worth a shot. Pros: Affordable. Comfortable. No side tighteners. Doesn't move around too much. Works well with sleeping on my side. Deep eye pockets. Fairly decent coverage in my experience. Cons: A little light still comes through around the nose and tops of my eyes. Though, at night, the light that creeps in isn't noticeable or distracting to me. Some shifting does occur as I lay on my side, again, not a huge issue. The Velcro sometimes gets stuck on my hair.

I need it to be completely dark in my room to sleep, but my blinds broke years ago and can't be closed. Not that they blocked a lot of light from the street lamp outside. I had been buying a mask from Walgreens for years but they only last a few months before they start to fall apart. I use them until the layers are completely separated then get another one because they are over $10 each. As my last mask started to fall apart recently, I decided to see if I could find something similar online instead of going all the way over the Walgreens (the only place I've found this style of mask) to get one that will barely last 9-10 months. I looked at a lot with my requirements being it needed to have space around the eyes enough you could blink (I don't like when it's pressing against my eyes... gives me a headache) and had velcro on the strap to adjust it. After looking for a day or so, I settled on these because they looked very similar to the Walgreens ones but they were two for $7.99 instead of one for $10. These arrived a couple weeks ago and I was more than thrilled to find they are even better than the Walgreens ones. They feel like they are better put together, there's more room around the eyes and the elastic is more comfortable. They also fit snugger around my eyes and let in almost no light. And even if they do start to separate into their different layers, I only spent $4 on one of them so it's not the end of the world. 10/10 will buy again.

This was purchased for the purpose of blocking out light for a person who was extremely light sensitive due to a medical condition. It completely blocked out the light…the straps were comfortable when lain on and the fact that they were cupped meant no pressure on the eyes. Very happy with this product and reasonably priced as they will last a long time.

Good light blockage. Adjustable straps so that you can adjust tightness. In general the contoured sleep masks are far comfier than traditional or the padded sleeping masks. The only downside is that these masks can be a little uncomfortable on the bridge of your nose as they are cut to be quite narrow and the edges aren’t smooth. I would recommend the SMUG mask version instead as I found that their masks are far comfier (despite looking similar on product images).
