used for an compressor Air dryer.. and yep it works just fine
following the lead on the guys who built these on youtube. I purchased this unit to act as an air dryer/cooler for my compressor.. yep.. works like a champ.. cant touch the air line out of the compressor (204+ degrees).. but after cooler the lines are warm to the touch ( 100+/- degrees) and considerably cooler than straight from compressor............ best part.. I have zero water in my lines.. and before water would drip from the quick connector when using.. all in project cost me about $150. well worth and highly recommend.

Good quality and fair price.
I originally bought this to use as an in line cooler for my air compressor but it was a fail. This restricted the air flow between the compressor and bottle raising the head temp of the pump from 210 to 265 degrees and increased the pump time to where I was running low on pressure. All that aside I did radiator mount it and ran my engine oil through it. It works perfect for its intended purpose. It’s versatile and worth the money. Easy to install

Used on my compressor, works REALLY well
Running the air from the compressor pump into this and then into the tank dropped the temp by over 100 degrees. The pump has a fan on the large pulley that ventilate the cooler. I added a water separator right after this and the air is now REALLY dry. Works great. Has 8AN fittings on it and the compressor pump does too. How handy!

Worked great as an intercooler for my air compressor
This appears to be of quality construction. I used soft copper tubing and a few flared fittings to install the cooler. Post cooler and prior to the tank I added an NANPU Industrial Grade Heavy Duty Particulate Filter, Metal Bowl, Suitable for Paint Spray (1/2" NPT, Auto Drain). I no longer have condensate to drain from the compressor tank but still require air filtration/water separation when large volumes of air are consumed.

Easy install to my air compressor which has cooled the air and the condensate is caught in the filter and not in the tank. Now I have dry air. It’s a little pricey but I didn’t want to try foreign made due to cheaper quality.

Dropped compressor air temps by 200 degrees
I was blown away by how well this worked to cool the air between my compressor head and tank. It dropped my air temp by more than 200 degrees (up to 240 at some points). It is made for liquid cooling in the automotive world so the fittings are AN and you will probably need to get some AN to whatever you need adapters so keep that in mind, it's not pipe thread or standard flare or compression it's AN-8. They are not hard fittings to find you just have to remember to do it. Would recommend.Likes:Excellent cooling ability for my air compressorSimple hookupsCame as describedReasonable priceDislikes:No mounting holes or hardwareNo pipe thread optionDid I mention no mounting options...

Works fantastic on my air compressor
I added this intercooler to my 60 gallon stationary air compressor and it works fantastic taking my compressor discharge temperature down from approximately 300° to ambient!

Garbage cooler is the same as the cheaper “off brand” coolers
Absolute garbage cooler. The copper piping in the fins are paper thin and break at the joints. Have had it less than a year. But at your own risk because this will ruin your transmission
