Works well
I bought this after I backed into a parked motorcycle in my truck. After an afternoon of tinkering with some help from a friend who is an auto mechanic I was able to use this with zero further adjustments (in other words, once I got it working right I didn't have to touch it).1. The camera that comes with it a. DOES have the picture reversed b. Has a built in trapezoid c. DOES have correct color sense d. Does NOT seem to have night vision.2. The instructions aren't in the best English, but are usable.3. When connected properly the monitor will only come on when the vehicle is in reverse. This may or may not be the way you want it to work. There are two video inputs and if for some reason you want to connect a DVD (illegal in most places) or a forward looking camera (may not be legal) you will want to wire it differently. You WILL need to understand basic 12 volt wiring to be able to connect this camera yourself. We ended up running the wire from the mirror that is supposed to be connected to the back-up lights all the way to the back of the truck (alongside the video wire) so that we were absolutely certain it was connected to the backup lights. We also had to drill a hole in the floor of the truck. There is a kit with the mirror with a gasket, hole saw, etc to help you with drilling through the floor (if you need to).I saw another review that dogged the camera so I went ahead and bought a separate camera that attaches to the license plate and has night vision with built in LEDs. I did connect this camera to my home security system to test it and was able to see the picture, but didn't test it at night or in real world conditions.

Great mirror, good camera!
Like others, I was a little confused with some of the installation instructions, but with a little trial and error, I was able to get it up and running.Likes: Option for full mirror replacement or snap-on, good quality, good image from both monitor and camera, lines from cameraDislikes: Mirror has coating that makes vision darker, plastic mirror has a little distortion, instructions are confusing, would have liked an ability to angle the camera with a keyhole flush mount.

BOYO VTB44MC
Not really any installation instructions included, but all the wire leads are labeled so with a little basic understanding of 12 volt automotive wiring, there weren't any problems. It did have a page on making adjustments to the display settings though. The video cable from the camera to the mirror was long enough for the installation on my full size truck, but I did have to extend the power lead wires from the camera to the front fuse box area. To have the camera activate in reverse, I tapped into the back-up light wiring (at the taillight) which meant I also had to extend that wire up to the front fuse box area as that's where pretty much all the wire connections are made. The single cable from the mirror was slender and long enough to be tucked in to the headliner trim along the top and side of the windshield and routed down to the fuse box area below the dash. The mirror is optically not perfect (slight distortion) and has a green tint to it which makes everything darker than normal although neither is a deal breaker, including at night. I used the included mirror mount rather than just clipping the display mirror over the existing mirror, but it's adjustment angle isn't quite as wide as the original mirror bracket. The only reason I went with the mirror display is because I had no place in my dash to install a display and I didn't want a display sitting on top of the dash. Camera image is decent, but it can be a bit hard to see on the mirror in really bright sunlight. Night image is a little grainy, but still good enough. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the license plate frame, using the included drill bit, and mounted the camera to the license plate frame. When installing the camera, note that there's a very small triangular mark on the camera label that denotes the "up" position (helpful). FYI, the ad picture is a bit misleading....the camera image shows up on the right hand side of the mirror when activated. A decent system for the price.

too small
I had this installed professionally and it works most of the time, but is SO small. Would be great if it were the entire mirror.

nice product, works as described
direct replacement, fit right in my 03' excursion, no need for 'clip on' feature (although it's included). The video quality is fine for what it is, helps me back right up to the trailer in one shot. You have to use the backup lights, I ran a wire from the back of the vehicle instead of searching for the wire up front. The rear view mirror has a blue tint to it, but it's fine for me.
