A bit pricey, like all Cross refills, but performs nicely
I've been a lifelong fan of Cross writing instruments. Have a bunch, including fountain, selectip, rollerball, ballpoint, and pencils. This refill is excellent, though, like all Cross refills, a bit pricey. Local OfficeMax does not carry it yet, so only way to buy is online. I bundled it with another purchase from Amazon, so the shipping didn't run the price up even more. This is a rollingball refill that fits Cross' new slimline (and reasonably priced) Click pen. It is smaller in diameter than the standard Cross rollingball refill. The Click delivers rollingball writing in a pen that's slender as a Cross classic ballpoint pen. The inkflow is smooth, and the lines are vivid. The line weight is a little heavy for anyone who writes very small or finely, but I love it. I also like the option of having rollingball writing in a pen that doesn't require me to remove a separate cap. I just pull the pen out of my pocket, click the button on top, and start in. Would be nice if it came in a finer point too, but overall this is a joy to write with. The ink supply lasts a reasonable time. I think I used the first refill for about a month.

Brought an Old Unused Cross Pen Right Back to Life
I had a came across a nice Cross pen that my father purchased for my wife. She had not used it in years and it would not write anymore. It took some time to figure out which of the modern Cross cartridges would fit it, since the cartridge in it was discontinued. This one worked like a charm and I was happy to put blue ink in. I have an excellent pen now, that reminds me of my father every time I use it, and I have been writing notes to my infant son with it and hope to pass it on to him someday. I was very happy to get this cartridge and at a better price (including free shipping) than from the Cross website.

Excellent pen but short life cycle
Fits my favorite Cross pen perfectly and smooth as butter. These just do not last very long, but worth the smooth action of the ink.

Very Good Capless Roller Ball Refill
This refill is the slim version for Cross, which is meant for the Click pens, not their standard roller ball pens. The ink is dark and smooth, the line is consistent and I haven't had any skipping issues. Further, the ink is listed as archival, so it's a little water resistant and also fade resistant. I actually like the slim refills better than the standard ones because those tend to skip on me(?!).

Tiffany & Co Ink Refill
If you are looking for an ink refill for your Tiffany & Co twist pen. This is the one you need to get. I was looking and no one post a picture with the pen and the ink model # they get. So I hope this helps someone. Writes great.

Smooth flowing ink
I really like the gel type pens, and by extension, the refills. If you still write checks, these are the only way to go as they provide a reasonable amount of protection against your executed checks being washed and re-used if they are stolen. Also, if you are left-handed and don't choose to write "upside-down", the gel ink flows rather smoothly unlike many ballpoint refills, especially those with fine tips. The downside to these refills is how quickly they get depleted. They are also rather costly when compared to standard ballpoint pen refills.

Blob Maker, more than once
When I first wrote with it all I got was a giant blob of ink. Document ruined, had to reprint. I thought maybe this was due to it being new, but next time I went to use the pen it did it again. And then again. I threw it away. What's worse, it was for my Spire pen, which has limited cartridge choices, otherwise I'd return the Spire too. I ordered a black ink version. Same thing again. Which means both the blue and the black ink cartridges have the issues. I threw it away. I went to Staples and bought a two pack of blue. Same thing happened with one of the cartridges! The other cartridge didn't last long enough to write the 6 letters of my first name. I threw them both away too. Four failures for four cartridges, now I'm figuring out how to put a ball point in my Spire, otherwise it'll be relegated to a drawer, never to be used again. And just to be clear, each cartridge had the little plastic protector at the point. This was not a storage issue. I got the Spire as a Christmas gift last year. The original cartridge had none of these issues, and lasted almost a year. Cross has gone way downhill with the slim line gel cartridges. Cross makes great pens and (normally) great cartridges. I hope this was an exception or they're in big trouble. Update: I hope the people at Cross are listening. I figured out that if I leave the cap off my pen at night then the ink doesn't ooze out. Apparently the temperature changes that happen at night (daytime temp 70, night time temp 55) coupled with the air tight seal of the cap create a vacuum that pulls ink out of the cartridge.

Genuine product but this refill does not fit the Cross Solo, unfortunately. Thought it would as the pen documentation states that requires a selectip refill but the refill is too narrow for the Solo so that the nib does not stay in position. Otherwise, if this is the model you require it is a good price and genuine product.

Just what I was looking for. Have a C3-PO pen and needed a refill and was having trouble finding it at the local stationary stores.
