High quality 2.5 qt and 4.2 qt Stainless Steel Pots - Work great on Induction Cook-top
These pots are made from 18/10 stainless steel. 18/10 stainless is the designation of stainless steel that had 18% chromium and 10% nickel as components in the alloy which gives it rust resistance. Since the nickel is a molecular part of the alloy there should be no concern about nickel leaching out for those of you who are concerned about such things. 18/10 stainless is not magnetic - so why do these work on our induction cook-top? The bottom of the pots are made from a different stainless steel alloy that is magnetic. For heat transfer, an aluminum disc is encapsulated between the magnetic bottom and the 18/10 pot. The bottoms are thick enough so they should not warp with use as happens with lesser quality pots. The lids both have internal 'drip' edges which allows water that condenses on the interior of the glass to be returned to the pot. The interior diameter of the 2.5 qt pot is 7 inches and it is 3.75 inches deep. The diameter of the base is 7 inches. The handle is very nicely contoured to fit in the hand. The interior diameter of the 4.2 qt pot measures 8.5 inches and is 4" deep. The two loop handles each extend about 2.25 inches from the pot and the bottom diameter is 8.5 inches. Very happy with these purchases and believe they will provide years of great service.

Buy it once buy it right, if you love to cook your gonna love this pot!
Medium sauce pan that looks great, has a thick bottom that warms evenly and cleans up quickly. If your tired of buying nonstick cooking pots that just don't last, this is your, long lasting, good looking, solution. This is the kind of pot your grandkids will fight over when it's time to divie up your stuff. (I mean, after your gone) hopefully a long long time from now!

Great induction capable pot.
Very nice little sauce pan with a clear glass lid and steam escape port. Also it keeps the lid from locking down when it cools off. Perfect for my hobby room! It works perfectly well on my induction hot plate.

A great sauce pan!
This is a great, sturdy, decently heavy bottomed, non-reactive sauce pan. It has a well fitting lid with a vent hole to help stop boil over messes, a solid handle that doesn't get hot to the touch, and is glass so you can see what's happening inside the pan without taking the lid off and letting the heat out. It is the perfect size for making almost everything you need a sauce pan to make. From a small batch of soup, to some Kraft Mac & Cheese, to homemade caramel, to prepping lids and rings for canning. It was very reasonably priced for such a quality pan too, in my opinion.

Pans are heavy
I gave the pan a 4 for 2 reasons: (1) It is heavy, especially when it has full of food. It is is a good size. (2) The handle design. When I pour from the pan, I need to hold the handle close to the pan to offset the weight; therefore the handle narrows there and makes it difficult to keep a good grip. An extra grab handle opposite the pan handle would be a great help. I also purchased the quart size which has some weight, but due to the smaller size I don't have a problem pouring from it The good points: (1) I like the way it rests on the glass top of my stove. Since the sides and bottom are at a right angle, it fits the burner completely and is flat to the surface. (2) The bottom has channels that seem to disburse the heat well as well as the thick bottom which doesn't produce "hot spots". (3) The glass lid fits well, has some weight and a vent. (4) Great quality and stainless. . ,

Best saucepan ever!
The best saucepan I’ve ever owned. It fits perfectly on my Duxtop induction burner and it’s easier to clean than All-Clad or Tramontina equivalents I’ve used.

Quality pot
I got this to use on a convection hot plate and it worked fine. But I normally use it every day on a regular stove where it also works great. I really like the glass see-through lid with a vent but the handle on top can get hot. The pot itself is well made the handle is well-connected, doesn't get loose. It's easy to clean up with baking soda and vinegar if need be and it's very nice looking. A veggie steamer fits inside - to put the lid on you can pull the sides of the steamer in a bit and the lid fits on top of it and shuts tightly. Very nice stainless steel quality

A really good pot
After numerous All-clad, Cuisinart, and Farberware pots (none of which seemed to sit flat against a glass stovetop - they all worked well with a gas burner) thought I’d try out a Duxtop. Wow, this is a handsome pot. A little taller (less wide) than my previous 2.5qt pot. Good heavy material. Handle is the weakest part of the design - it’s a solid handle, but poorly placed and/or shaped. With such a heavily weighted (thick) bottom, rotating a full or partially full pot, for emptying or even just washing, the handle/pot wants to rotate in the hand. A flatter or wider shaped handle might provide a little more leverage. Bottom of pot is flat. No wobbling at all as it’s made for an induction stove. Heats up faster than my last pot - maybe due to the flat footprint contact with the burner. Very happy with this purchase. Too bad their skillets don’t look as good, imo.

Quality pot
This is a good quality pot. I have Lagostina, Demeyere, AllClad and Hexclad pots and this little guy is not behind any of them yet very affordable. I have an induction cooktop and it is perfect for induction. It heats up very quickly. It boils water quicker than my kettle. It has a heavy bottom and the food doesn't stick much. And even when it does (it is not a non-stick after all), the cleaning is easy. I just soak it a bit and hand wash normally. Never had a need to scrub. It is my go to pot for boiled eggs, oats, rice, boiled/ steamed veggies, kraft dinner etc.
