Deuter AC Aera 30 Backpack

The AC Aera is a classic toploader yet also features a big front opening for easy access on the entire content. Review: Five Stars - Satisfied all my expectations. Came with all official Deuter labels, and the bag is clearly new. It doesn't have side zipper pockets, but does have elastic netting for bottles, etc. The air isolation system is amazing! Balance is not quite as great with these isolation system bags compared with the bags that hug your back, especially if you put more than 7-8 Kg inside, but you can tighten the straps to make it very similar to conventional bags. For me, when I switched to this suspension system, I noticed when I came home that my shirt was only wet (from sweat) at the shoulders and a bit at the waist, but the back of the shirt was dry! HUGE benefit for me. It is expensive, but there is no real price "markup" as with other international items. It costs about the same as you would pay in the U.S. or U.K. Quality can't be beaten so if you got the money, get it! Will keep you much cooler in the heat.

Sehr angenehm zu tragen
Habe lange einen Rucksack für Tagestouren mit der Familie gesucht, den man auch vorne öffnen kann, weil es mich genervt hat, dass unterwegs immer genau das zuerst gebraucht wird, was zuunterst ist (und bei der nächsten Tour dann natürlich umgekehrt, so dass auch vorausschauendes Packen nichts nützt). Bei diesem Rucksack kann man "klassisch" von oben zugreifen, aber eben auch direkt ganz unten, wenn man vorne öffnet. Das alleine ist für mich schon ein ganz großer Pluspunkt. Ausreichend sonstige Fächer und Halterungen, zB für Wanderstöcke. Positiv überrascht war ich vom Tragekomfort, obwohl die Erwartungen bei dieser Marke ohnehin schon hoch waren. Für einen wirklich perfekten Rucksack hätte ich mir die eine odere andere Veränderung bei den Neben- und Innenfächern gewünscht, aber man kann bekanntlich nicht alles haben.

Very good quality and fit
Very comfortable. Light and a good fit for a tall guy. I did two day hikes with it and I sometimes forget I am wearing it.

Solider Rucksack,
ohne viel Schnickschnack. Wer mehr Schnallen, Einschübe etc. möchte, sollte auf diesen hier ausweichen: Deuter Rucksack Cruise, Black-Titan (http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B008NUZ15I?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00) Ergänzend noch: 30L hören sich größer an als sie sind. Für Tagestouren sicher gut, aber mit Schlafsack füllt es sich sehr schnell.

Spot on - One of the best bags
In agreement with other review that I saw here. The price point is nicely in balance, and probably the same as we would pay in US for such a bag. The product quality seems excellent, and lot of attention to every minute detail. Which will go a long way in increasing the comfort and durability of this bag. I would definitely go for Deuter again with such competitive pricing and no compromise on quality!
