Quality item and arrived early
The saw looks quality (I have not used it yet) but it fits the Doca pole I bought) . Can be used with or without the pole. The saw turned up earlier than arranged which was a bonus

Effective hand saw
A sturdy and heavy duty hand saw, which can also be mounted on the Docapole to reach higher branches from the ground. However it is a bit more difficult to exert pressure on those branches if the pole is extended. Slightly pricy.

Very expensive for what it is.
Good saw but very expensive.

No comparison to cheaper looking saws
The Go Saw is far more expensive than similar looking saws that I’ve seen in retail park stores but the Go Saw has the screw end that fits onto the Doca Pole already built into the handle and the blade is incredibly sharp. I’ve used the Go Saw to cut through 150mm diameter branches 4 metres off the ground. It takes a few minutes of practice to perfect the technique required to use the saw and it’s essential not to extend the top, thin section, of the pole because it may well bend or break. Applying WD40 to the blade before and after use stops the blade from sticking part way through the cut and prevents corrosion when not in use. Highly Recommended

Did the job quickly and easily - job done!
Neighbours branches were overhanging (at upstairs window height). Got this a bit earlier today and decided to try it out on one of them. Well... instead of a try on one, it was so easy that I did the lot (about half a dozen branches between half and 2 inches) in about 15 mins. Cuts through thick ones (2 inches) in just a minute or two - didn't rush, just gentle cutting. As I was at ground level (even for the cuts at ROOF level!) then I could do it at a leasurely pace. Didn't think it would do half inch branches as they are very flexible, but gentle cutting gets them off. Highly recommended. As stated on the instructions - screw it in to the METAL head on the pole (NOT the plastic elbow that comes with the pole) otherwise you may snap the end of the plastic elbow.

The pruning saw is awesome as a hand saw and works well on a pruning pole. It's extremely sharp and does clean cuts on high branches while being attached to an extending pole. This saw is a must have for for around the yard pruning. Well worth the money!

This saw is great. I was able to cut down 3 small trees with the pruning saw and trim a lot of vines. I was also able to cut 10 branches from a chestnut tree that were hanging over my property and the roof of my garage. The thickest branch that I was able to cut was about 5 inches in diameter. I also used the saw to cut up some of the branches into smaller chunks once they were cut. It is very sharp and easy to use. The extensions work very well and are stable. However, there is something to be aware of: When cutting a thick branch, the saw blade can get "pinched" between the two halves of the branch. This can cause the saw to get stuck and if this happens while the saw is in the extension, then the extensions can get disconnected from each other and your saw blade can end up stuck in the tree. This happened to me once, but I was able to rescue the saw blade. This isn't meant to discourage you from buying this product - it's an amazing saw! But just be aware that this might happen. To keep this from happening, make sure to tighten the screws in the extensions often, and don't rush while cutting branches. Overall, this saw is a lifesaver and I was able to do the whole job myself without hiring outside help. I highly recommend this saw!
