Great quality! Make sure to choose the right page style
Heads up - if you want a certain page style be sure to check that under the color. I meant to get lined but dotted was checked by default and I wasn't paying attention. That said, it's a happy mistake for me because I'd never used dotted pages before and it turns out they rock. I like being able to use pages horizontally and they make it easier to make even columns. As far as quality this thing actually feels like a solid book which is what I was looking for. I also LOVE the Port Red color (kind of like a purpley red), it looks even better in person. The bookmark ribbons are soft and sturdy too. I checked out a lot of different journals but I think it was worth paying a few dollars more for a Leuchturmm1917.

Favorite notebooks
I love these notebooks. I have several in various covers. They hold up really well over time. Thereโs some ghosting though depending on what pens and markers you use.

These are the best notebooks I've ever used
I've been keeping a journal of some type for decades. I've tried every variety and these Leuchturm journals are the best in my opinion. They are sturdy and substantial. They open flat, they have two placeholder ribbons and a pocket in the back that can hold a lot of stickers, receipts, business cards, etc. They come in many colors and they have an index in the front as well as stickers for the spine and front cover if you want to label your books. The pages are thick enough that most inks won't bleed through. I get the dotted grid because I feel it is the most versatile for doing drawn layouts. It also helps keep my writing straight and well spaced. I've used Rhodia, Miquelris and Moleskine in addition to various school type notebooks and hardback notebooks from office supply shops. I really love the Leuchturm because the quality and features are worth the price.

Probably the best Dot Grid Journal Available
I buy one or two of these a year to use for a "work diary". Helps me to stay focused and get things done. These notebooks are VERY well made and will easily stay together and look good for a year of daily use. The paper quality is excellent. The labels are a bonus. I can mark the notebooks with the date range they contain and if anyone comes back to me and says "what did you do this day" I can go back YEARS and find it. A great way to document and stay organized.

Great for Bullet Journaling
These are my favorite notebooks! After trying different journals, I always find myself gravitating back to this brand. The dotted, numbered pages are perfect for bullet journaling. The markers, index and pocket in the back are also added convenience factors that make this 5 stars in my book. The pages are thin compared to some other art journals, but I've never had any problem with pens bleeding through. Also, the pages lay flat! To anyone in search of a perfect notebook, I would highly recommend this one.

Nice notebook, thin pages
I am only 3 pages in, so far. The color is bright, and the hard cover is good and firm. When I open it all the way/beyond 180 degrees, I do not (yet) hear glue cracking, which hopefully indicates that the pages/cover are solidly connected. I like the TOC and the numbered pages. There's also a pocket in the back and an elastic strap that matches the color of the book. My only complaint is that the pages are thin, and there's some bleed-through. For a notebook this expensive, I want to use a decent pen and expect the pages not to be thin. Currently using a Pilot G2 Extra Fine pen and getting some bleed through.

perfect
I really love these notebooks. I find the size to be just right -- big enough to use for monthly and weekly calendar layouts, or for making hefty to-do lists, but small enough to fit in my bag without taking up too much space. I love that it has two bookmarks and the elastic to hold it closed. I love that it comes in hardcover, so it's harder for me to destroy it. And this might be my favorite paper for fountain pens. It feels nice with any pen, but I tend to use fountain pens. I have found that some paper meant specifically for fountain pens is too slick for my taste. This paper is very smooth, but a touch more porous than some fountain pen specific papers, and I really prefer it that way. I've been using a Micron Graphic 1 for my calendar outlines -- it does show through quite a bit, but that is not a problem because I line up my calendars so that they overlap with what is on the opposite side of the page, if that makes sense. Regular fountain pens don't show through to distraction. I actually replaced my Hobonichi Techo planner with one of these. But went for the notebook instead of the planner so I can do a planner/BuJo hybrid with layouts the way I like them.
