How does this compare to the classic Weleda Skin food cream in terms of consistency and fragrance? I'm looking for something equally thick.

Totally different texture - it's waxy rather than creamy. I use the Skin Food cream for my hands, and the body butter for my arms and cleavage. Both are very good, the body butter is a bit more moisturizing and lasts a lot longer, also it doesn't transfer to clothes..

I'm not 100% sure if it's vegan. I think it will be, but best to look it up on the Weleda website for full ingredients.
