i got this product with in 2 weeks. it's like nail polish and bitterness taste in mouth, it is use full for 2+ years children's.Thumb-sucking become a habit of my kid. he has 2+ years. i worried about this because it causes teeth to become improperly aligned (malocclusion) or push the teeth outward. in feature pronunciation problems should come.that's why i bought this product. before applying him i tasted this by applying my thumb it's taste like full of bitterness(చేదు). so applied this nail polish to my kid thumbs for both hands when he started sucking his thumb with in 3 seconds he take it off from mouth due to bitterness taste in mouth. i applied for every 2 days. now he stops this thumb sucking.

I was writing this review after a week of using .it is so amazing ,my son has stopped thumb sucking just in 2 days but one thing is who want to buy this product just waiting for 2 years of Ur kids age . below 2 years kids won't develop tast buds keep it in mind and try after 2 years

My 5 year old son keeps chewing his nails all the time. I tried so many tricks to make him stop and nothing worked but this medicine helped me to bring the change. Leaving the cost factor, its worth to take. After 2 weeks of application on every alternate day my son has almost forgot keeping his nails in the mouth

Superb product. Effective from first application. Very happy. My son who is 4.5 years old sucked his thumb for last 4 years.After applying this he has not taken his thumb for even once in his mouth. I applied it every second third day just precautionary for 2 months but now I am not applying it and the habit of sucking thumb is totally gone. Thank you so much for such a wonderful product.

My 2 yrs old started getting adjusted to the taste... She licks despite this liquid.. the slr has a disclaimer that this is effective only on 3 yrs and above.. saw that only after buying... Disclaimer shud be more obvious on the Amazon site I feel

Very happy that my 4 yr old daughter completely stopped putting fingers in mouth after trying this. Ofcourse you need to make lot of stories and explanation to the kids as to why the finger turned bitter. Over all very happy with results

Superb.. My 2 daughters 3 1/2 yrs and 4 1/2 yrs were sucking their thumbs from about 3 months of age...just after 1 application thumb sucking stopped......It's been almost 2 months now and they never sucked it again ! I apply it every 4-5 days just to prevent it from happening again!

My daughter was CONSTANTLY sucking her thumb as of late and it was driving us nuts, as I didn't want that habit to get worse as she got older. Some say they grow out of it, some not sure, either way I didn't want it to become a big issue when her adult teeth came in.When it arrived, I put a layer on each thumb later that evening. As my wife and I later witnessed her post Mavala taste, I felt bad due to the look of disgust on her face. A few seconds later, she said "tummy hurt", as she soon later laid on the sofa. I saw her do it again shortly after then about 4 minutes later, as I was busy in the kitchen, my wife was yelling for help, as my daughter began vomiting all over. Luckily, we had a blanket, as I will spare the details and cleanup. My wife and I felt horrible!!!I was not sure if to try again or what, as I did not want another episode of that again!!! Once was enough! So two days later, as directions say, this time I applied only a tiny amount ONLY on the tips of her thumbs, and did not put an entire coat as I did prior. Since that episode, she only tried a few times, but she is no longer a thumb sucker, nor do we ever see her try as of late. We still apply it ever 2 days at night, when she is sleeping and passed out. That way, she knows no better and does not put up a fight if she realized the root of the taste deterrent. I've been a biter for 45 years or so. To the point where I remove 90% of the nail. It's unsightly, sore and now because of covid, dangerous. So, I need to stop. This product has some really good reviews, so I decided to give it a go..... It works..!! I'm actually growing finger nails.. I've been using it for about 3 weeks.However, couple of days ago I had a relapse. This stuff lasts for about 3 days even with hand washing, bathing, washing up etc etc, so I got a little lazy and didn't apply every day as I had been.So, apply every day, its part of the deterant.If you get this stuff in your mouth it's tastes vile. As it should, but, the taste stays in your mouth for a long time. It taints everything, food, water, tea, everything.The only down side for me is this, it taints everything you touch too. I know that I bite the skin around my fingers too. So I painted the whole of the front of my fingers. But, it transfers to anything even remotely moist ie, sandwiches, fruit, crisps, even pistachio nuts.

It tastes viles so it's working...! I've bitten my nails since I was a kid but recently have been getting fed up of my bad habit. I'm not bothered about manicures or painting them every day; I'd just like them to look neater than they do now. I bought this after reading other good reviews and am glad it works for me, too. I could see a difference after only a couple of days. I'll probably need to keep using it on and off but the 10ml bottle seems to last a while so it's not a huge expense going forward.

Top quality, only been using it for a few days but already seeing nail growth for the first time in nearly 40 years!Totally worth it, plus I only have to reapply it every couple of days.

Mavala Stop is the real deal. It applies easily and tastes absolutely disgusting - perfect for kicking that 'fingers in mouth' habit. Most importantly (and this is vital) it doesn't wash off in a matter of hours like all the others. I only need to apply every two or three days, it's like it sinks into the nail so it keeps you on track. Brilliant.
