We got this for our budding 12-year old video kid. He likes to shoot movies & edit stuff on the computer. He has been asking for a green screen for a while & we had some green poster board on the wall for a while. This kit is a quality kit & he was pretty impressed when he unwrapped it. The down side is that it is monstrous. Unless you have a room/wall dedicated to just this it is quite a feat to unroll the screen & get it set up. It is easiest with 2 people but I imagine with a couple of chairs could be done by 1. He used it a couple of times & after we cleaned it up & packed it back away he hasn't asked to use it since. This would be a good investment for a school class or something but like I said unless you can leave it out your kid will need help to unpack & pack it back up.

I shopped a bunch of low-to-moderately priced kits before buying this product. Product was received on time, carefully packaged to avoid breakage, and came complete. Very easy setup, outstanding quality for the price point, and excellent results with minimal efforts. (One note, the green screen is very big so you need a large setup area.) Ample room in the carrying case so putting all the pieces back in the case is simple. I have no experience with green screen but was able to set up the screen and lights easily, take pictures and replace the green background easily (even with the wrinkles in the cloth didn't affect the finished result). Outstanding product, outstanding value. Highly recommended.

We were unclear at first how it set up, however, it did not take us long to figure it out and had it set up in no time. Everything worked just fine as we used it to shoot our music video. Lamps worked great and were easy to set up. I would recommend this product to those starting out in Photography or video. There are other items that are cheaper, but I am glad we went with Fancier Chromakey Green Screen Kit. It is worth the cost.

The package is very complete and easy to set up. There weren't any instructions, but it was pretty intuitive. The 10'x20' screen is very generous. Since I am shooting from the knee up I folded the excess over the top of the bar. I did put the screen in the dryer on the wrinkle removal cycle and it helped some. It would take some ironing to remove all the wrinkles, but they don't show much in the video background. The lamps are very bright indeed and do a good job of lighting the area. You will have to experiment and see if you need more light overhead and behind you. And remember, except for St. Patrick's Day, don't wear green, or you'll be a ghost.

I got this as a birthday gift for my wife. When it arrived I tested all of the bulbs and socket outlets to make sure they worked and were not broken. What I didn't test were the stands. When we were setting the entire thing up, I found one of the backdrop stand's plastic cross connectors was broken. It was marked with green E logo with H804. The E looking like a different brand. Amazon offered to refund after return or offer a discount on the broken item. Which is totally fair. I tried to contact Fancier and received no response. It's just a little piece of plastic. A replacement or part number for it would be great, but haven't heard anything back. We decided to keep the kit and attempt to repair the plastic cross piece, instead of sending the entire thing back. (A friend even offered to CNC a part out of Aluminum.) Also note that 10x20 is huge. Not only will you need open wall space, but also floor space. I will most likely not buy anything offered by Fancier again.

I am glad I waited to write my review rather than hastily write how great the product was the first week I received it. Everything arrived well, worked great out of the bag that everything came in. The stands looked good and worked for the first week. By the time the 2nd week came the stands that held the green screen broke. The screws would not tighten to hold the stand from sliding down. Then one of the bottom screws for the stand began to not work. Then the light bulbs gave out. All of my bulbs do not work anymore and this is from very light use. Less than 5 hours of use. The only items that still work properly are the umbrellas. The quality is just not there for this kit. Not worth the over 100 dollar investment(I spent $160) even if it is for a beginner. Definitely consider going to Lowes or Home Depot and building a solid stand and purchasing green screen separate. That's what I did...well after I learned my lesson of course. Learn from my mistake.

After a series of Emails Fancier replaced part of the damaged items. In emails they said they would replace both damaged stand as they wouldn't extended and retract because of dents in stand. Cross bar (which they did replace) was missing part of the locking mechanism. Bag which i received tore they did replace but replaced with a different sized bag(which was smaller than the original) I can deal with the bag. But other than the backdrop the set is useless without working stands. Because of the company taking their time replacing only part of the items and it being after the date to return items I'm stuck with a smaller bag and a defective stand that is totally useless to use as a mobile studio. Service was ok they just didn't follow thru with what they said they were going to do.

I am very happy with this purchase. The item is exactly as described and it arrived quickly. I was actually pleasantly surprised to find that i could get so much stuff and and at such a good price. I have absolutley no complaints. Everything arrived in perfect condition and was easy to set up. Oh the one thing i will say is that the green fabric had some fold creases (understanably), but I just used a fabric steamer on them and they came out in about 5 minutes.
