Changed my course of business moving forward :-)
After reading Karl's 2nd and now 3rd edition of MSAM (it took me reading both editions) I have transitioned my business to this model of delivering information technology services. Karl provides more than "why" I should being providing services in a managed style but provides extra documentation and templates I can modify and start using to onboard clients which I've used. If you're in the I.T. business and struggling to get a grip on a sustainable business model that scales then you should do yourself a huge favor and study his books.

AMAZING BOOK!!!
This book is fantastic and a MUST read if you're in the MSP business. Whether you're just starting out or trying to switch over from the break / fix world (like the company I work for) this book is for you. I couldn't put it down and finished it over a 2 night span. Have since recommended to 2 other colleagues and both had the same reaction. Besides the book itself, which is amazing, Karl also has a number of helpful spreadsheets / docs that he references throughout the book available for download after you register your purchase.

Crap
It’s a crock of crap. Yes it tells you the basics that you could find Googling the same material but the innards that you actually need to be successful are left out. And for a reason. Karl will then try to sell you that additional important information through his webinars that cost $300 a pop and additional books. It’s almost pyramid scheme like. There are MSP based business consultants out there that you would benefit much greater from for $300 a month or so. If you seriously haven’t a clue this might be a good place to start but other than that it’s useless. Karl isn’t out to help anybody other than line his pockets.

... Managed Services in a Month (2nd edition) was really great. Karl's perspective helped me transform my computer repair ...
Let me start by saying that Managed Services in a Month (2nd edition) was really great. Karl's perspective helped me transform my computer repair business into a true managed service business. I read that book a dozen times. I bought the audio version of it to listen to in my car on my way to work, so I could repeat the message to myself. It was with great anticipation that I bought the 3rd edition Kindle version, as well as the audio version of the 3rd edition. I read it, I listened to it, and was greatly disappointed to find it contained almost no new material, no new ideas. I wanted to hear Karl's thoughts on the new MSP tools available, the different RMM's, the ticketing services (PSA's). But there wasn't any of that there. This isn't a bad book, it's just really almost completely the 2nd edition. I found nothing in here that was of any more use than the 2nd edition. A wasted purchase of a Kindle edition, a wasted audiobook. Even the woman who narrated the 2nd edition was a far better narrator than the guy who did the 3rd edition. I'd ask for my money back if I could!

It worked
A great book. I read this at Christmas 2018 by February 2019 after following the advice dispensed in this book I signed up 4 companies. My best business book to date.

Spelling mistakes
At least 3 spelling mistakes which I find annoying and should never happen when publishing a book.

Very good
My partner has started an MSP business, and came upon a suggestion to read this book. We bought a copy for my kindle, and both read it and found most of the info very helpful, and definitely helped us get going in the right direction.

Useful content
Useful content but I am not sure the "...in one month" line is realistic without some assumptions defined.
