Whilst Apple phones are great the only downside to them is that you are locked in with the size of the memory that comes with the phone and usually the more the memory the more the price goes up for the phone. Samsung used to provide greater freedom than Apple until recently when they started following in Apple's footsteps My daughter owns an iPhone 6 with a storage of around 16GB, well that's after you take away the fact of all the pre-installed stuff that comes with the phone, you're more looking at 12GB. She is always complaining that she has to download apps.. use them, then uninstall and downloaded other apps, as the normal big apps like, music apps and twitter and Instagram and facebook run and take up a lot of room and need to stay on her phone at all times lol .... By the time she has installed all of them she is already out of space. She cannot keep pictures on her phone for over a week without getting that message that says ( you are out of space... Please clear up space ) It is annoying and aggravating. She constantly has to delete her pictures. So After looking into it I came across this little beauty (Big Grin) It holds up to 64GB of stuff, I cant tell you how elated my daughter was when this turned up on the doorstep. So Now for the specs... This is a Certified by Apple Company and stable App software, and encrypted protection will maintain your privacy which is good to know. This is a double ended I stick with one end being for the iPhone and the other to use on your laptop or computer. It has a memory of 64Gb so now you don't have to go out and pay extra for a phone to have 32gb or 64gb, all you need to do is plug in the lightning flash drive into your device and you will be able to easily move photos, videos and other files from your Phone or iPad or laptop/computer and onto this flash drive. Then if you wanted to for extra safety you can take the pictures off the stick and uploaded it to your computer where you can store your memories onto your computer or onto an external hard drive that way freeing up more room on your stick to start all over again.... I can see this being a Great Asset when on holiday or at special times when you want to take a whole lot of photos but can't because you don't have the storage on your phone. Great product !!! Cant rave enough. Bring your iPad into the real world of being able to use external memory without buying a new iPad. Transfer files from PC to IOS and between IOS devices - and have 64gb of information on a stick. this is great. Backup / restore your contacts, your photos, take photos and save them directly to the drive - Password protect the disk - Encrypt the disk, so may options As complex as downloading an App and reading the screen. So simple to use - love this device. No pictures below as the video takes up all my space - the video shows how easy this is to use. No need to buy a new Apple device if you run out of room - transfer it all to this drive - and a load more

Very pleased with this memory stick. Although I found it difficult to get my photos to save from my iPad onto it. Only a few would play on my digital photo frame. I found it very frustrating as my photos were not saved in iCloud. I re read the instructions several times and resaved my photos as per instructions several times and eventually they played fine. I have no idea why. Perhaps I’m just a bit of a numpty with these things. But very pleased it’s now doing what it’s intended to do. That’s the only reason I’ve given 4 stars. But otherwise, great little device, appears well made.

So far - delighted. Easy to pick up how to use, if you are fairly confident with phones, tablets & laptops. Copied all my photos from iPad fast. Then I copied my photos again in their folders, copying each folder invidually. This took longer, as I have a large number of folders. When iPad battery ran low, I continued copying folders on my iPhone. Changing from iPad to iPhone was totally seamless. I avoided using touch ID and just used a passcode, because another review said using touch ID could slightly complicate my next step, which is to copy all pics from pen drive to my laptop. Then from laptop I can copy them to my two separate hard drive backups. My photos may already be backed up on Google photos, but feel safer backing them up again as Google has discontinued GooglePlus, so feel a little unsure. So glad I bought the larger capacity size pen drive. It did take 8 days to arrive. Will save me having to pay every month for extra space on my iCloud. Pleased!

This is a great piece of kit for iOS back up. You just plug and play. Simple to use and understand. You have to first download the iDiskk app then watch all files photos, etc download onto the usb drive it’s fantastic. You can customise what you back up off your iPhone, iPad. If you only want to save specific files and photos. 128GB storage capacity. Then plug into Pc and upload everything from the iDiskk usb memory stick. I have backed up 4 iPads and 3 iPhones as well. I am absolutely overwhelmed with delight on how easy this makes it. You don’t have to be a tech expert just plug and play. Brilliant

Fantastic multi purpose flash drive really useful for transferring between non compatible devices. Great product at a Very good price, very easy to used ,works well on my iPad, P.C. and media player All you do is plug it in and install the app and you can physically backup sensitive information ie photos or documents onto the drive. If your in an area without reception or WiFi, say in an international country. You can still transfer data without use roaming data!

I use my iPad while travelling and it is a bit of a faff putting movies on it. Apple being Apple, there is no easy way (having no USB port) of carrying a selection of movies. Enter the iDiskk. Connects seamlessly with my iPad and my Mac. 64GB is plenty for me and it is as easy to use as a normal flash drive. You do have to install app to facilitate the connectivity but that's no problem. A great little drive. Update June 5 2019 It no longer works. There is no connectivity with my iPad. I can't even use it as a normal USB stick to watch movies on my TV as there is no connectivity there either. I would imagine this is a software issue but it is not good enough. You would expect that Apple updates might be expected. I will keep an eye out for any bug fixes which might give me my flash drive back but I have lowered my rating in the meantime. If you were thinking of buying one, be warned. Update ... The stick now works on both my iPad Air and my wife's iPad (latest model) so there have been some improvements to the software. I have used it to transfer data, movies and pics. It still doesn't function as a normal memory stick on the USB on my TV but that's neither here nor there. I still wouldn't buy another one though.

iDissk to urządzenie, które uratowało mojego iphone’a przed całkowitą „utratą” miejsca nawet do aktualizacji. To super urządzenie, na które z łatwością przerzuciłam wszystkie albumy ze zdjęciami. Zdjęcia nie tracą swoich danych dot. np. lokalizacji gdzie zostały zrobione pomimo tego, że na iDissku nie widać tych informacji. Jeżeli macie problem z miejscem na telefonie to iDissk jest idealny.

Does not show up as USB drive on iPhone only works with wonky app that does not provide access to all folders, don’t buy

Does what it is supposed to do. Good metal finish. Fast and useful on my iPhone 13 Pro.
