Not happy with network connectivity of this zebra label printer
I had another zebra label printer that was 5+ years old and it broke so I bought this one to replace it. It would not hook up to my small business network via the ethernet cable. My server would not recognize it unless it was plugged in directly through usb although if I put the direct IP address in to the web address it was connected. I even called Zebra customer service and spent 1+ hour on the phone during my lunch break to get this resolved, but could not get it to print 1 label through the network connection. In the end they could not help me either and the tech told me I should call my I.T. department. Unfortunately I have a small business and I am the I.T department. I am returning it and trying a Brother instead, as I have had no problems hooking my regular brother printer/scanner/fax system to our network. I'm hoping that in the year 2017 I will be able to find a label printer that will easily hook up to my network without having to spend 2+ hours trying to connect it with no luck.
