I’m really pleased with this brand, I’ve got the beard oil from smooth viking as well, and I can say I love both, my beard is much smoother since I use them daily... fact, they are more expensive then other products on the market, but good quality comes with higher price and I’m willing to pay £50 every two months 🙂

Absolutely fantastic product. Really leaves your beard soft and feeling fresh. Would really recommend it if you’ve got a rough, wire-feeling beard. This leaves it soft and manageable. The only downside is the price! If this was around £17-20 it would be perfect

The wax is good to give your beard a perfect healthy shine (amazing in the sun light), and to help condition it. Very light fragrance that disappear as soon as applied (sort of neutral fragrance). Very greasy feeling at the touch and when applying but dries quickly on the beard so no greasy beard feeling. Box is small and relatively expensive but you just need a small amount so a box lasts about a couple of months (depending how huge is your beard!).

For me it's the best balm on market. Seems to actually add a little bit of thickness to the beard. The hairs are smooth, skin is healthy.

Dont believe the hype i reluctantly bought this based on reviews and all google searches seem to recomend this as the best beard balm for a start this thing is a tiny pot alot smaller than i thought it would be it has no hold what so ever yet ive seen on reviews how it has great hold its very greasy and makes my beard feel very greasy if you want a great holding beard balm i recomend woodys (which i will be going back to) for a a fraction of the price dont buy this over priced over hyped balm

For the price, I expected so much more than this product delivered. Provides no styling whatsoever. Smell? Average at best! Growth promotion etc? Who can tell... but nothing over and above what is normal that I have noticed. Would I buy again? No.

Smells like stale grease.

Better fragrance than others but a little more styling properties than what i was looking for .. great product nevertheless. For the best on the list go for Honest Amish.

This is the best beard balm I've ever used. It's fragrance is light and clean. There is nothing worse than an overpowering, loud smell right underneath your nose so I was very pleased with Smooth Viking. I have a super course and wiry beard but Smooth Viking tames the wild hairs and holds it beautiful in place. It give your beard a nice sheen without feeling oily. I wet my beard with hot water then scrape a pea sized amount onto my fingernail. Rub a couple of fingers and your thumb in it the work into your beard from the root out. The style as usual. It holds well and really controls beard "dandruff". I assume if you have a longer beard you may want a bit more. The two ounce container is a good value. I really like Smooth Viking beard balm and intend to continue using it. It's awesome stuff!

I love this balm, the sent is really light (all balm have sent, even unscented ones). The hold isn't as strong as I would like, but work great for interior. Texture is perfect.

Just yesterday, my optometrist brought up my beard saying how badly he wants a beard. However, he'll grow one and then quickly shave it back off because he never feels like his beard itself looks nice. When I told him what a distinct difference the Smooth Viking beard oil and balm made for my own beard, he stopped the exam to write the two names down saying he was going to start growing another beard tomorrow and order everything after he got home that night. The same day, a man leaving a restaurant I was going into for lunch held the door open and commented that my beard was really great. While this kind of thing NEVER happened to me before, it happens all the time now. For reference, though, my beard isn't a huge or really long one. It's only about four inches at my chin and trimmed progressively shorter toward the ears. So, it's not a showboat beard...just a nice full beard with red, auburn, blond, and gray in it. The Smooth Viking beard oil and balm make it really shine, though, and the colors stand out. I was completely against using beard specific products in spite of the shocked and disbelieving reactions when asked what products I used. Originally, I thought beards were just normal hair and beard specific products were a waste of time and money. So, I simply used regular hair products on it. Every time I honestly answered the question of what I used on it, the reaction to that would be about the same, "Oh man, no. You can't use that regular sh*t on your beard!!!" I would just roll my eyes and let a few unspoken derogatory comments run through my mind. Then, someone with their beard wax on them actually put it in my beard while I patiently allowed it. The product smelled nice and did provide some control. So, I did some research and decided to try the Smooth Viking brand because of its high ratings and great reviews. I found I did like the results, though I only used it off and on. I later looked at the beard oil and, given the reasonable price, decided to try that too. Now I'm extremely glad I did, am a very definite convert, and use both religiously every day. As a result, I now get constant compliments on my beard...something that never happened before. People even compare how nice my beard looks compared to the beards of other men in the room or circle of friends. It is kind of hard for me to answer that it's the Smooth Viking products I use when asked, though. I like having the nicest or one of the nicest beards in the room and mine looking better than the bigger and longer ones.
