14.36k and it has great tone. Incredible single coil pickup
The most powerful single coil pickup I have ever owned. Exceeded my expectations. Sounds very good, honestly it has enough power to use in the bridge position in an sss guitar arrangement, and I would recommend something with less horsepower for the middle and neck pickups.

All the Stratocaster twang & bite, with enough power to match a humbucker!
This is a very nice pickup. I have the same pickups in another guitar, and they sound great! They have enough output to work well when paired with a humbucker. This is one of Seymour Duncan's most popular true single coil pickups. It's been around since the company started in the late '70s to early '80s.

Best blues tone a Stratocaster can buy
Best blues tone a Stratocaster can buy! Lots of mid range balls! That's because the magnets are 1/4" wide! A stock Strat's are only 1/8"! I have these pick-ups at the neck and in the middle positions, with a Seymour Duncan Hot Rail at the bridge. I accept no substitutes! They make my DiMarzio pick-ups sound anemic.

Special use case
This is a noisy, harsh single coil pickup. It can be worked with, but it takes some tone shaping and the right amplifiers for it to even be useable in the middle position.

Pairs well with a hot bridge humbucker.
First impressions after installing it: Volume-wise the SSL-7 balances well with a hot bridge humbucker. Switching to the single coil doesnโt cause a volume drop. A bit of a strat-ish character as you would expect from this type of PU but less bright, which is good for those creamy high gain solo sounds. For clean sounds I miss some high-end sparkle, but that's OK with me.
