I ordered one of these and it didn't work.
I have used an Epson Picturemate for years. They're wonderful little printers. Mine quit on me and I still have a lot of ink and paper, so I ordered one of these. I got it. It was not new and it didn't work. It continually gave me an error and would not do anything. I had to send it back. I am very disappointed.

What a great little printer!
I kept reading the reviews for this printer and wanted to get one but I was afraid it would not really print as well as some reviewers stated. Finally, as a birthday present to myself, I ordered one Monday. I just got it today. Talk about easy setup! I took it from the box, inserted the printer cartridge, inserted the paper, turned it on, placed my xD-Picture Card in the slot, and voila ... I was in business. I can only hope to be able to describe to you the EXCELLENT quality of the prints I made. They were truly "at least" lab quality (if not better). The color was superb. The brightness was perfect. Detailed items were very clear. And talk about easy ... it doesn't get any easier. I printed a copy of one of the pictures on my regular everyday printer (HP Photosmart 7660) in order to compare the quality. I always thought my HP printer did a good job. Now, when I compare the two prints I can't believe I waited so long to buy the Epson PictureMate. I know that I just got it today and anything can happen, but unless something major happens to change my mind, I would HIGHLY suggest to anyone interested in printing quality pictures at home that they buy the PictureMate. I don't think you'll be sorry.

purchased picturemate printer
i had purchased a picturemate printer last month.the description was written up exactly as it was. i am very happy to have gotten it,and willstart using it after the holiday season to do all my pictures. it was very reasonable priced also.

The printer is not working
The SD Slot not working. Up to this point i cant get the printer to read any picture

Wonderful printer!
This is my second PictureMate. My first one lasted me 10 years, and I was so sad when it died. This printer has the best quality printing that I have seen. Yes, it is not the fastest photo printer in the world, but the convenience of printing pics at home makes it worth the wait. I just received my second one not long ago. But with my first one, I would get MORE than 100 photos from a single ink cartridge. The photos are the same quality, if not better, than you would get from sending them off somewhere to be printed. You can buy the ink & photo paper packs from Amazon, which is wonderful. I think it comes out to about 24 cents a pic to print them yourself. I am so happy that I was able to find another one of these, still new in the box, on Amazon.

Had trouble getting it to print clearly
Had to clean the print heads a lot before I could get a good print out of it. Love it now but it used most of the ink cartridge to get it working.

This is an old version of the PictureMate
We bought this thinking it was the newer version of the PictureMate then the one we had. I cannot believe an older version is even still available much less for the price they are asking. It does not even except a 2 gig SD card, it is slower then a snail. I would think the price would be more like 50 bucks versus 200+ bucks. We are attempting to return it and so far the seller is asking if we used it or not. I hope we can return as of course we used it otherwise I would not know about the SD card limitiation or the slowness. This is the first item I have ever had to RTN that I purchased via Amazon.
