I love these for hearing protection. They are light, comfortable and easy to get on around my glasses. I use them in my wood shop and have actually ordered two so that I can keep them near my noisy equipment and not forget to protect my hearing.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Peltor delivers again with a quality product. I am a hobbyist woodworker and metalworker. I chose this style of hearing protection because I needed to wear a face shield and a traditional style ear protection would not work. These fit great and are comfortable. The sound reduction is terrific and makes using a saw or grinder much more enjoyable. I was skeptical about the design but they stay in place with no issues, no sliding off and are comfortable. I’m very pleased and will purchase these again if needed.

Low profile and comfortable enough for all day use. Doesn’t block out too much sound but protects my ears from small engines and loud power tools with extended use.

The product is good. Does help to block out noise. Just not as effective as I had hoped. I have very noisy neighbors. Bulky to sleep with.

I had no idea how much I would like the behind the head style earmuffs. My wife and I occasionally get our muffs mixed up, but because these don't need to be adjusted, we don't mess up each others' fit. They slip easily on and off even if I am wearing a hat and goggles. They reduce sound enough to use power tools safely, but they don't block out the whole environment like ones designed for shooting. These are also extremely lite.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought these because they're a Peltor design back when Peltor was an independent company. The noise reduction isn't quite as good as the full size or over the head, but it's still very good. These are useful when you need to wear a face shield, welding mask, or helmet that goes over your head. While there are some solutions that have the hearing protection attached to a helmet, I've never seen that as a decent solution. The other alternative is foam or other earplugs, but these are way more comfortable than that.

Does not technically have noise cancellation, but noise attenuation is very good. Slim, lower-profile type muffs/cups, don’t knock on stock when shooting rifle/shotgun anywhere near as bad as big cups. Had a similar pair (not low-profile) I wore at work with a bump cap and hard hat as spring band goes behind head instead of resting on top of head. Works well with full-brim hats such as Boonie hat, gardening bonnet, or cowboy hat. Tan color a bit blah, but I have plenty of Frog Tape and spray paint if I feel like getting fashionable or festive. We usually use the cup-style protection with earplugs or earbuds. Also works great with the Axil GhostStryke combo Bluetooth earbud/hearing protection and should work fine with similar in-ear products. Doubling-up allows you to listen to music at a much lower volume than earbud ear pro alone (see below). The reason for double protection is a more broad-spectrum frequency attenuation in addition to additional decibel reduction. Double protection is more useful for lawnmower, weed eater, tractor, industrial blower/grinder equipment - high-noise areas - than intermittent like shooting, hammering, impact wrench, and other hand tool usage. Buy these and start protecting NOW while you’re young. If you’re old like me buy them anyway so you’ll go deaf a later rather than sooner.

Not complete noise cancelling, but works well. I'm sensitive to certain tones and volumes so I try to use protection any time I'm on the mower or tractor. This makes the noise more comfortable. My wife tried them and liked them so much I bought her a pair too.

I have sensory processing issues. Loud noise can cause extreme distress, like landscapers when they’re using their blowers for hours. I can sleep with this on with construction ear plugs underneath. Very comfy. I bring them everywhere. Recently to the ER filled with screaming children. People were visibly envious lol. They’re also great for their intended purpose. They work well for ear protection, and I can again pop them over my earplugs for double protection when using loud machinery because they sit around the neck, they stay on your neck if you have to pop them off, and there is no interference with a hard hat.

Theses are amazing, vary thin.

I worked at a loud steel factory and I needed something to wear on top of the ear plugs they give you. This works perfectly but the pads can get pretty sweaty. I bought a peltor compatible gel ear muff and cut the existing one with a knife and stick it on it. Huge improvement. However you're gonna need some adhesives because the surface for this ear muffs after you cut em ain't flat. Unsure if it's compatible with gel muff upgrade kit that comes with a ear muff clip. I got the cheapest one with just get pads only.
