Gets the job done.
After researching for a good long while, weighing it up against its competitor I took the plunge with this. For me it’s perfect, not had any issues with cuts and it’s relatively easy to reach everywhere it should. I’d say its limitations are more dependant on its user and their flexibility. But you do quickly develop a technique. Just respect that you are using sharp blades and don’t rush. (Obviously).Changing the blades is extremely simple and more importantly cheap! Not had any cuts or tugging. it’s essentially a plastic stick. It does feel “cheap” but that’s better than something that costs the earth for exactly the same end result.I’m absolutely baffled how some people have managed to snap them in half!

Works brilliantly, but the quality doesn't reflect the price
Switched to this after using the overly expensive cartridge alternative (if you know, you know).Overall it fits the purpose very well (I use the "saucy" setting which they recommend for those with more experience) and is easy to reach round where it needs to go. Feels very comfortable on my back and easy to clean afterwards. The corners of the blades are covered by the orange comb bit which is nice. It also came with a pack of 5 blades (Would have been nice to have a pack containing an even number as it uses 2 at a time). Of course how well it actually cuts will be mainly down to the blades you decide to put in it. The way blades are inserted is easy to do and the ability to change how close it shaves is a nice feature. However, at the time of writing it's very overpriced (29.99) due to the quality of the handle. It's made of bendy plastic which can easily be twisted when using it and doesn't feel solid in the hand. For this price I would've liked a heavier handle and not the hollow one it currently has (see photos in other reviews to see what I mean). But at the end of the day all this is overshadowed by the joy of not having to pay 20 quid to replace the blades each time!Easy to use - 5*Easy to hold - 3*Value for money - 1*

Finally a decent back shaver
I forgot what product i had many moons ago, but it used to easily clog up and the blades were terrible.after finally deciding to try another back shaving product, im glad i chose this one. although it does not come with safety blades, i had some on hand and this felt amazing to use. the shaver never clogged at all (and it easily could have!) and it was really great to use. an essential grooming product if you’re a bear like me!one downside i’d say is on the pricey side, but to be honest i know it’ll be a worthy investment as it’ll last me a long time.

Cheap, overpriced
Very overpriced, cheap quality and cuts skin easily. 2 blades are loaded into it already, be careful not to cut yourselves.

Extremely flimsy
I had the original triple blade one (the one without the orange guard) and it was fine. The bolts and nuts had rusted after a few years and I decided to go for the new twin blade version (2.2) as the replacement. Thought it’d be more user friendly. The only positive I can think of is the orange guard. The old one would occasionally nick and cut. This one hasn’t (yet) on the M setting. The twin blade model is extremely flimsy to the point where I don’t think it’ll last +6 months. The old one was sturdy and reliable at least. There is no need for handles of the two models to be different in strength.I’m also not happy when it comes to value for money. The new one doesn’t come with razor blades any more, even though the packaging clearly has room for them. The old model came with 15 spare blades. So it’s quite a significant downgrade.Very disappointed overall. Will update after six months (if it lasts that long).EDIT: The seller has kindly reached out and offered a full refund. So their customer service gets a 5/5. Hope their next iteration is as sturdy as the wide blade model.

Does the job
What is essentially a straight razor on a stickA bit tricky to get the hang of.. but once you get the back it works perfectly. No cuts either

A good product that can give a wrong first impression due to the included blades.
The product overall is good. Build quality (plastic) is decent and makes for a lightweight yet solid long-handled razor. The setup is easy enough. Just take your blades and put them around the 2 tabs, select which side of the comb you want to use (mild or saucy), tighten the screws and you're in business! There is a big problem with the product though, which can give the wrong impression: The included blades.First time I used the product it was a major letdown. I managed to take longer to finish shaving, than with my Philips electric back trimmer and that resulted in skin irritation.Having used a safety razor for a few years now, I suspected the included blades might have been the issue, so I figured I'd give them a shot in my safety razor. Turns out I was correct. Those damn things couldn't deal with my facial hair without several passes and even then the result wasn't as close a shave as with my normal blades (Astra Platinum). Next time I was due for a back shave I gave the BROSHAVER another chance, this time using my Astra Platinum blades and even in Mild mode the experience was fast, clean and irritation free. A second pass was needed very rarely and only due to the contouring of my back, which is to be expected.TL:DR Use different blades before considering the BROSHAVER to be bad. The included ones are best recycled or maybe left aside for a rainy day. Of course that's just my experience. Could have been a bad batch.
