I was replacing a really old set...I mean a blinds set that was installed probably back in 2000, so about 20 years old.They've really improved these units since then. This one fit perfectly in the brackets installed for the old set so installation was a snap. If you have to install this unit fresh, you'll need to drive screws for the brackets into the side of the window area but it's not too bad; once you're done with that the blinds slip right into the bracket.My understanding is that another way these blinds have improved over the years is in their ability to resist fading. The old set started out white but faded into an ugly stale beige. They also got brittle. These newer ones are supposed to be longer lasting. I guess time will tell.Finally, the newer blind technology is cordless, meaning that the long strings that used to hang down from the blinds so you could pull them up have been replaced with an integrated suspension system. Now you just pull down or lift up the bottom of the blind to adjust the height. I don't actually know if this is better or worse than before; it looks nicer without cords hanging down, and some say it is safer for pets and kids, but some others have complained about the poor reliability of this mechanism. Time will tell. For now, I'm happy these blinds were reasonably priced and seem to be working.

I ordered 2 sets of these blinds and the first box went up great but the 2nd box was missing all the parts to install them. All that came with the box were the blinds nothing else No instructions nor hardware. Any company that does not double check their items before shipping gets a 1 star. I I had hired a handy man to install these and rather than pay another $50.00 to have him come out again when the replacement arrived I spent an extra 10 dollars and got the needed hardware and had to velcro the valance on because Lotus has a different part than the other companies. A REAL PAIN.

We have been looking for beautiful blinds for every room in our home and didn't want to waste money for a professional installer to do it for us. I found these blinds on Amazon and I can't speak highly enough of them. We have them in our bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom. Incredibly easy to install. I have them in my daughter's bedroom on the window frame and we still had enough clearance space to hand curtains over the blinds with a curtain rod. I will be buying more of them as we continue to renovate our home. Excellent product and the price is perfect. Worth the money.

Luckily, the destroyed box did not affect the contents. My hubby got the thing up & mounted in just a few minutes. The product is attractive and does a superior job of insulating - keeping the heat out/ cool in. Much better than the thin 1" slats I had before. The thicker slats also do a better job of blocking out the light, which is important, here in the desert. Definitely worth the investment!

The overall install was easy, just followed YouTube and videos from this purchase on how to install this particular blinds. I was able to install within 15 minutes.When I received the blinds, the box was already open and damaged. on the side of the blinds. I did'nt care much because it wasn't noticeable.Also, the box DID NOT COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS. Recommend watching the video from this purchase or YouTube.

Fast delivery. Simple to install brackets, easy to snap on blinds assembly. Pulling down and pushing up works better than expected and may even be better than the pull rope. "instructions" isn't the name I'd would call the half sheet of scribble.

Received the blinds but no brackets hardware or instructions came with them. Have to purchase all these items separately. Not happy about that, but the blinds themselves look fine.

these blinds were not as good as the arlo's that Ive purchased in the past. These were closest to size I needed though. They are ok but not the best .

i like the fact the product fits the window perfectly, and looks nice. However it’s cheap material and when I received it the product was damaged. Receiving a broken item isn’t worth $100.00 in my opinion but whatever it fits.
