Got rid of bump steer
Jeep drives down the road nice now, and I don't worry about bending my drag link from hitting rocks.Easy enough to install. Need a drill with a 1/2" chuck, a 7/8" drill bit (and a couple smaller bits to gradually enlarge the hole. LEAVE YOUR TIE ROD END IN THE STEERING KNUCKLE while drilling, 😆 don't drink and drill!

Heavy duty bar, so so bracket
Overall I am happy with the Rough Country High Steer kit and it did correct the bump steer I was experiencing. The drag link is very heavy and seems well made. The track bar bracket is also heavy and well made, however I had problems with the holes lining up and the hole size. When I lifted my Jeep I installed an adjustable track bar. At that time I also upgraded the bolts as many people do which are slightly larger to prevent movement. The upgraded bolts will not fit the track bar bracket. That isn't necessarily a flaw, but should be noted. The problem is that the holes are slightly different sizes front/rear and mine did not line up. I ended up having to drill the rear hole out larger to get the factory track bar bolt through both sides of the bracket.By the time I noticed this my install was complete other than the track bar (which is done under vehicle weight), so pulling it off was not an easy option.I would highly recommend checking the hole alignment prior to install to make sure the path is straight through.

Drives perfect now!
My Jeep JK drove like a ‘77 CJ with a manual gear box and a bad worm gear, this totally helped resolve that. Steering angle is corrected and now my Jeep drives as good as any Jeep should be expected too.

Rust
This product is low quality. Started seeing rust after no longer than a week. Bump steer did not go away. In fact, the steering is now worse. I don’t recommend.

Great for bump steer
Helped dampen bump steer. Still not completely gone but definitely helped. Also there’s a little bit of rust starting to form but not anything serious.

No ZERK fitting, now has failed
This product was great at first. Box arrived a little damaged, but thought all was good. Installed and was great at first. Now that it has been a few months. Bought in Aug 2022 and now we have found it has failed. We have NO ZERK fitting, and now know why the steering wheel has been shaking more and more. We will go and buy a ZERK fitting and hope this bar is not completely damaged.Watch pictures and some show yes a ZERK fitting and others in the same add so no.. We must have received a NO… Hope I do not have to buy again… If I do will check complete box.
