Perfect addition for the garage
Northern California summers are ridiculous at 100+ degrees and this fan was a perfect addition to help keep it manageable. I recently replaced my garage door with a thick insulated door, but the air can still be thick and hot. After a ton of research on various brands, fan blade size, noise level, cfm, etc, this fan was at the top of the list. I'm glad I bought it. It moves some serious air (max 3,190 cfm on high), while drawing only 1.5 amps and at a reasonable noise level (I can comfortably watch/hear the Dodger game). The fan alone dropped my ambient temperature in the garage down approx 6-8 degrees. Definitely a solid purchase. PROS: - The ability to mount this on the wall is great. It keeps the floor clear. - 180 deg rotation is handy. I didnโt think Iโd use it as much as I do. - Noise is very reasonable. On low, it just becomes white noise. - High air movement - Long power cord. Made it much easier to mount and plug in. CONS (sorta): - The balance seems to be slightly off. Mine has a very small vibration on medium. Not a deal-breaker though. - The pull chain looks like something from grandma's ceiling fan. It does the trick though. Mounting tip - Have someone there to help mount this. It's awkward to drive in the lag bolt while holding the fan at the same time. Iโd recommend min 2.5โ lag screw into stud or post. If you add an extra (wide) washer in between the steel mount and the wall, you can get create a swivel pivot point to allow the fan to rotate a few inches back and forth.

Great fans for horse barn
I've been using these for 2 years in the stalls in my horse barn. I have them plugged into a switched outlet so I can just flip them on and off. They get a lot of use and no problems with them. The horses LOVE them and they'll position themselves directly under them. Keeps the air circulating and the stalls nice and cool. They move A LOT of air, and they're a little loud. But it doesn't bother me or the horses. I only need 1 in each 12x12 stall. They don't get rained on our anything where I have them, but they are exposed to heat and humidity and no issues after 2 years of use. I leave them out there all year so they are also exposed to below freezing Temps. About to buy 2 more to mount in the aisleway.

I'm a Fan Of This Product
OK, I admit the title is a little corny, but I was not in any way disappointed with this fan when it arrived. It is obviously well made, has 3 speeds and moves a lot of air. I mounted it on a wall in my workshop to help me cope with the hot, muggy weather we have here in Florida during spring and summer. You can stand a good 15 to 20 ft. away from it and still feel a breeze, which is exactly what I wanted. It can be mounted with the bracket horizontal for up and down adjustment, or vertical for side-to-side adjustment. It only has one mounting bolt hole in the bracket, which seemed a little strange but I used a 7/16" bolt (I believe the manufacturer recommended a 3/8" bolt) and it is solid with no noticeable vibration at the higest speed. You can hear it when its running but for the amount of air it moves I think the noise level is very acceptable. If you need air movement in a large room, you can't go wrong with this fan.

Moves a L-O-T of air!
Upgraded to five stars after five years of use! This heavy duty/industrial fan moves a L-O-T of air! But, it is not quiet if that is a requirement for you. We have an upstairs room that needed air movement for long, hot nights in our Texas summer. This fan can do that on the low speed setting. We've tried various oscillating fans but they didn't move much air and eventually failed. Our single concern with this fan is its out-of-balance blades. There is quite a lot of movement on start up, (shown in video), but the vibration settles down at operating speed. On high speed, a 60 Hz hum can be heard throughout the house on the ground floor. Luckily, we only use the low speed and its not audible in other rooms. We might have been happy with a smaller, 16" fan, but we are gong to hang in there and be happy with this one. We adapted the fan yoke by drilling two additional holes using 4" lag bolts anchored to a wall stud. We ran the cord down through the wall and out again near the electric receptacle below. The 9' long cord is a plus for us as it is long enough to be inside our wall without any splicing, just a new flat plug to fit behind furniture. Okay, the rest of the truth....We sold the 18" fan at loss and bought the 16" model and it moves a lot of air on slow and is fairly quiet. Very nice and versatile
Love these fans for livestock. We have 5 of them. Sound is not bad considering the amount of air it circulates. It doesn't vibrate. It mounts beautifully anywhere and can be turned to where you need it to go. The safety cable is useful. We only lost one fan due to the chain pull came out of the backside and seems to not be a fixable solution.

Moves a lot of air - great in my home shop
NIce wall/ceiling mount fan. Moves lots of air, heavy duty mounting bracket. Not too noisy, 3 speeds are a nice feature. Well built, shroud is heavy gauge steel. Long power cord. This fan is great in my shop and would work equally well on a patio.

Wow.
Love this machine out doors. The smell of my next door neighbour's cooking is gross and as my windows face their vent my house smells of their food. Not nice n/bours as they did not want to put up a tube going up. I have this fan on facing their house every time they cook. I have also put trees along the fence. I have made a cover for it and it is put away in the winter.

Crappy pull chain switch!!!!
Seemed like it was well made. Unfortunately the low grade switch broke within a month of very limited use. Fan seems decent. Switch assembly is junk!!! More landfill crap from China.
