I have several higher end t-class amps & a high end d-class amp. this amp serves it purpose, too amplify sound. It's not high-ish but it isn't bottom of the barrel garbage either. Sounds slightly different (in a good way in my opinion) than a Lepai TA2020. As for the 45W per channel..Ya ok, if you say so, I will agree to disagree. I wouldn't give it anymore than 25W at it's very BEST with luck on it's side, being knighted by the queen, a wizard, a black magic Voodoo spell & a MUCH better power supply. If you expect to get 90 total watts from a 12V, 2Amp power supply, your shooting up marijuana. However...the sound it amplifies is warm & clean, not muddy, staticy or crackly. Distortion, which starts at about 1/3 way turned up IF an iPod is connected & cranked ALL the way up. Bare in mind you need to take into account the source no matter what it's from. Like ANY amp, You can't expect it to work as you would expect if the sound source is turned all the way up/down or 1/2 way etc...which I would like to add can be a benefit or hindrance. If more people understood that, they wouldn't deal with distortion as much when they crank things up all the way & then complain it sounds crappy. The build is nice. It's light & doesn't feel real cheap. It doesn't feel like a solid chunk of power waiting to happen either. It does feel of a better quality than a Lepai & unlike the Lepai amps I like that this amp has 3 options to connect various source devices in various ways...i.e. mp3 3.5mm jack in front or 1/4" audio plug (microphone jack) or RCA jacks in the rear. I can see this being used for a PA system core as well as amplifying music to speakers or both in tandem like karaoke. I got mine to run a single speaker in stereo; to that end it does a very nice job. The volume dial back light it BRIGHT. could be irritating to some. It came with a 12V: 2amp power supply & a fused wire to hook up to a 12V battery in a vehicle or portable 12v power supply.

I've been going back and forth between this little guy and one of the bigger Pyle amps. I just need to get a signal to my built in ceiling speakers that are circa 2009 when my house was built so that means speaker wire connection. However I needed a way to get the music into the Pyle and I looked at a Chromecast but those are $35 and I use Amazon Echoes and Dots throughout my house so I wanted to stay with Amazon but didn't want to buy one more $25 Dot. Luckily I came across the Echo Input on sale for $9.99. Ordered everything and luckily everything showed up on the same day. Set up the Echo Input and connected the speaker wires to the back of the Pyle PFA300, plugged in the 3.5mm jack from the Echo Input to the Pyle and powered it on turned on a song in Amazon Music Unlimited, connected the Echo Input as the device to play music on in the app and nothing...no sound through my speakers. Go to the wall and turn the volume all the way up and I finally here the music but it sounds like the volume is only a quarter of the way up. I start to thinking I should have bought one with more power etc...but before I take it all apart and return it I check the Alexa app on my phone and look at the Echo Input and see there is a volume control slide feature and it's at 10% for some reason. I cranked it up to 100% and the speakers get so loud it is now garbled, but hey it works. I turned the volume in the app down to 85%, my wall volume to 50% and it's perfect. Now I have no idea what kind of in ceiling speakers I have, but the music has nice highs a little bit of bass and it sounds great to me and the patio speakers work and so do the Master bedrooms so I am a happy camper, thank you Pyle for not making me spend $50 to $300 on some needlessly expensive equipment for what I needed.

UPDATE: After just under two years, it is still working with no issues. I use to play music from an Amazon Dot over my bookshelf speakers. So, the amp is on 24/7 waiting for me to tell Alexa to play music. Pretty darn reliable for the money. Original Review: I have wanted a pair of Klipsch speakers since I first heard them at a friends house in the mid '80s. Back then I couldn't come close to affording them. Last month, I saw the Klispch R 41M's on sale at CostCo for under one hundred bucks. I couldn't resist. Suddenly, I was in need of something to put in between my phone and the new speakers. Space is a big concern in our house, so I needed something small, And since I needed a new stereo system like a hole in the head, I didn't want to spend too much. After spending some time on Amazon, I settled on the PFA300. Most of the competition had a fair amount of negative reviews, as did the PFA300. I was cautious at first. I hooked it up to a pair of old bookshelf speakers. Unlike what I read in a couple of other reviews, they didn't blow up as soon as I powered up the amp. The amp worked just fine. I then set up the Klipsch's. While I am not a true audiophile, I think the sound is great. I've been listening to an Amazon Echo for a couple of years. What a difference. I attribute that to a pair of quality speakers. For under 30 bucks, the most I hoped for was that the amp wouldn't significantly diminish the sound quality or ruin other pieces of equipment. Expectations met or exceeded. There are a couple of downsides. The is a significant pop when you turn the amp on or off, and there is no balance control. But then again, it cost less than thirty bucks. As of now, I highly recommend the PFA 300. Time will tell. I just set it up yesterday. I intend to go back to this review (Amazon version) should things go bad down the line. So, if time has passed, and you see this on Amazon, you can assume it is still working fine. Did I mention it cost less than thirty bucks?

Super-quality stereo amp for a reasonable price and I found an extra bonus! (Tell you later in the review.) I am really impressed with the sound quality for the price. The controls are basic but are useable and fairly precise. I hooked this small, well-made amp to some good-quality bookshelf speakers I had not used for years and got good low, mid and high-end response. I wasn't looking for ultra-audiophile response in a $30 stereo amp but I was very pleased with what it gives me. With an MP3/mini-jack, 1/4 in. mic jack, push-wire speaker inputs and RCA phono, it is adaptable to most any need. I'm not putting this in an auto, but you can do that if you want to. It comes with the power wiring for it (with a fuse holder.) What's the bonus? I plugged my electric piezo-pickup acoustic guitar into the 1/4 in. jack and the sound was really good even cranked up! I haven't tried running my (4) pedals into it yet but the guitar straight into the amp was hiss and noise-free until I had the volume up 'til around 80%, and even then it was acceptable. I think it sounds better and louder than my 15-watt acoustic Fender amp. Kinda wish I found this before the guitar amp! Minus? I can't seem to get it to work with my Android phone. I'll keep trying. Update 8/15/20: I had a bad mp3 cord. Found another and it works great with my phone!

Great little amp for the price, lots of power. Originally used it to power computer speakers, attached a Bluetooth dongle to stream over. In thinking about the mic input though I realized I could use it to power an ad-hoc guitar amp. I input from an effects pedal and/or behringer tube monster to the mic input, and output to a 60 watt celestion rocket speaker driver, means I bridged the amp to mono output and it has not fried yet. The result of the "guitar amp" was shockingly loud with that setup (piss the neighbors off loud), but works OK too for home practice outputting from the stereo RCA sockets. The case is removable easily and the RCA turns out to be a removable molex connected separate unit which means you can easily drop in a different connection if you want (1/4 inch plug in my.case) or use the RCA plugs in a different project The on off.switch is wired to two long red and.black wires too, which means with minimal Soldering you can replace the switch if you want, and both.LEDs have ample leads if you want to switch them to a different color, also with minimal Soldering needed. In other words, for very little money, you can build this into any project box or case you might like and use it.for lots of different purposes given how many watts it can handle. only drawback I see is no headphone outout built in. I'm very happy with this purchase.

First off, I bought this 90 watt to replace my 15 watt LePai that I paid around $20 for. The LepAi was making a buzzing noise in my speakers and started cutting in and out. The GOOD Sound is good, there is a minor buzzing if you turn the audio too loud but its not noticeable when your playing music or other sounds are coming out of the speakers. Feels durable, heavyweight and nice construction The BAD The MP3 jack on the front is TERRIBLY MADE. I have a standard auxiliary cord for my iPhone and it slides right out of the port from the mere weight of the wire. Really poorly made, if your using this as an mp3 player, look elsewhere. This might not be important to some people but there are no mounting holes anywhere on this thing. It has a stand but nothing else. Pointless if your using this for a car or if you want to bolt this too a desk (like I do) so I just used a velcro strip to attach it to the side of my desk. The volume nob is the same size as the other nobs. I have grown accustomed to the perfect setup of the Lepai amplifier and the volume nob is MUCH larger. Same with most other HiFi or mini amps. Its the nob you use the most, so why this would be the same size as the treble and bass nobs is beyond me. The volume nob is in synch with the speakers AND the headphone jack. Most good amps control the speakers only and leave the headphones at a medium level so the media can control the volume (like windows or a home entertainment set or television ) When you turn up the volume for your headphones, your speakers go on...... WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS!? Editing my review as of 2/8/2013 The piece of crap product broke. Whenever I adjust the volume, it crackles and the volume randomly goes high as I am turning the volume. Sometimes the volume gets stuck on a really high decibel and I have to tap the box to calm down. It's basically garbage at this point and I am in the market for a better amp. I will never buy another Pyle again. STAY AWAY.

I've used this amp for about 10 years now and it's still putting out loud decent audio. It's currently hooked up to some large floor speakers from the 70's (12" woofers, mid, and tweeters) and can drive it loud enough that I can't tolerate the amount of sound. Even at high volume the bass is very good and the sound remains pretty clean. The issues I've had with it are the power supply failing and the speaker inputs on the back. The power supply that comes with this is too small to drive any larger speakers and died pretty quickly. I used a wall-wart of higher power that I already had and soldered my own connector on, it sounds much better and has been solid for 8 years. The speaker connectors are made of the absolute cheapest material and are constantly falling out. I had to use double sided tape to stick it to a table so nothing moves the wires, they're precariously hanging but working now The last issue I've had is with shielding. When everything is connected cleanly there is no AC hum, but it doesn't take much to cause interference. A nearby cell phone, a loose wire, etc and it hums like crazy Overall it works and would be a bargain for most people. I'm in the market for another similar small amp and probably wouldn't buy again though

Works great ! We had a newer tv that lost it's speaker function (bad humming and loud static) since it's was just past it's guarantee we thought we were stuck having to buy another tv ..Not so....we bought inexpensive small Pyle bookshelf speakers and this terrific amplifier. We purchased the speakers along with this tiny amplifier which also saved us from having to buy an expensive receiver that might have HDMI connections so we could use any tv sound transmission to speakers. Additionally most newer tv's don't have component in and out hook ups so any receiver you might own must have HDMI or a digital connection and our tv didn't so we thought we were stuck ...But this amplifier has an 3.5 mm input jack we could use from the tv's headphone jack to the amplifier and out to the speakers and Whaala ! We've got great sound and no more loud humming from bad tv speakers etc. We saved a bundle and the sound is even better than ever ...total control over sound and we have two speakers far from the tv giving us greater sound without having to blast the tv from across the room to hear low conversations on the tv ...Good luck hope this info helps others..great product, great price.

Cumple bien su función sin más pretención. Las uso para mejorar el sonido de la TV y dependiendo de las bocinas pueden sonar bastante bien. Llegaron muy rápido y perfectamente empacados (compré dos en un salto de fé) sí lo recomiendo.

This PFA300 is intended for my bedroom to replace my $180 Onq Broken amplifier. I didn't want to buy one of those expensive OnQ mini amplifiers. I decided that I needed a very small amplifier to hide under a designer furniture shelf so it can replace my OnQ junk. My 1st PFA300 was not working at all out of the box, I have tested input and output by inverting cables but left side did not work at all. After extensively searching I decided to give a second try to this PFA300. So amazon exchanged my broken unit very quickly within 48h with express shipping. I am not disappointed at all with the new PFA300. I have 8 inches OnQ inwall speakers in the ceiling. They never made a so good sound ! I used the movie Drive to test this PFA300, ALL frequencies are properly transmitted to the speakers. I can clear hear voices and deep bass. Drive is the toughest movie to calibrate on a amplifier. This PFA300 does the job perfectly on the Drive movie. Regarding power I don't have a single doubt that this amplifier is at least 2x45W. I can shake the entire house when running full power. Bass and tremble adjustment buttons are working also perfectly. Especially the bass boost is very very effective, at one point I had to reduce bass because my speaker were getting too much shake. After 1h full power there is no heat on the unit. So I presume I am lucky with my second purchases.

Nice product for the outside. unusable, because only one of the stereo channel is working, swapped input and output, yes its the amplifier issue. treeble and bass adjustment useless too, barely adjust anything. Now going to look for another one.

Cheap quality amp. Sound quality very basic and after only few month of use the speaker connector are falling apart. Its better to buy amp from local store
