Wish I’d bought this years ago for my Golden Retriever. Gets so much more fur out than a normal brush- so less on the floor too! Have had loads of comments about how good her coat looks.

The quality of this tool seems professional grade. It is comfortable to handle and it works really well. Of course you want to be really attentive and careful while using it as it seems very sharp but can be really versatile as in right measure can help in any area.

I never usually review things but I felt I had to with this. ITS AMAZING!! My Caucasian Shepherd has a seriously thick double coat that sheds like mad and leaves hair everywhere. I've used this only twice so far and have got a literal mountain of hair off him each time, and I've already noticed a huge decrease in how much hair accumulates around the house. Totally worth the price.

Wow, this is fantastic, bought after seeing five minutes of crufts where someone was saying having a deShedder is a must, lots to choose from, many with great reviews, but wanted one that would be suitable for a long haired large dog Brush my Rough Collie briefly most days but this is essential, am using once a week & he looks like he's been pampered at the parlour. So our household recently acquired a golden retriever after my old man took a tumble an is no longer in a condition to look after her. Beautiful girl she is, but OMFG the ear ache. Let me clarify, the dog is quiet as a mouse, the ear ache is from the wife because of my blonde girls shedding. So a recent wedding anniversary arrived, and the wife said "you'll have to get me a sh**k vacuum cleaner, they're the best"... im like, mate, dya think I'm made of money. After sharing this conundrum with a friend, they suggested one of these. Looked at it, initially cried at the price... (yes I'm originally from yorkshire, we squeak when we walk) but thought, dya know what, it's cheaper than the vacuum... so I bought it. I never thought it possible for one beast to carry so much fur. There was clouds of the stuff, im just glad I did it outside. What I have found is, don't be to heavy handed and don't go foe to long over the same spot, however satisfying it is. While my blondie wasn't in any discomfort whatsoever (I'd still be sat there 2 days later if it was up to her) Her skin did resemble being laid in the sun for a few hours, it was red... Human error I think. Anyway, shes still in no discomfort and her skin is the usual shade, oh and she's not dropping hair everywhere so my ear ache is beginning to ease off. Win win.

I have a very long haired German Shepherd. I was sceptical about how effective this brush would be. I shouldn't have been. It is very well built, feels good in the hand and is very effective. I should have bought one years ago.

Nach einigen Enttäuschungen mit anderen Bürsten habe ich mich für den Furminator entschieden – und der Unterschied ist enorm. Mein Husky hat extrem viel Unterwolle und gerade im Fellwechsel kommt mit wenigen Bürstenstrichen eine beeindruckende Menge loser Haare heraus. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass das Fell danach gepflegt aussieht und mein Hund nicht den Eindruck macht, als würde ihm das Bürsten unangenehm sein. Der Griff liegt angenehm in der Hand und dank der Auswurftaste lassen sich die Haare schnell entfernen. Ein kleiner Tipp: Weniger ist mehr. Ich benutze den Furminator nur ein- bis zweimal pro Woche und ohne Druck. So wird nur die lose Unterwolle entfernt und das Fell bleibt gesund. Für Hunde mit dichter Unterwolle – insbesondere Huskys – ist der Furminator für mich jeden Euro wert. Eine der besten Anschaffungen für die Fellpflege.
