Nothing works on vinyl wall paper well, but once scored these sheets are GREAT!!!!

not worth the time
this whole process is way too time consuming. in the end, it is quicker and easier to just stick with traditional wallpaper removal methods (scraper + hot water). this didn't work any better for me than dry scraping, save your money.

wallpaper removal
I bought these sheets and a jug of concentrated solution, as I have 4 rooms to remove; 1 room with cathedral ceiling. This product works pretty good - not quite as easily as implied in the video, but pretty good. Part of the problem is my wall - the contractor (20 years ago) installed wallpaper directly over bare drywall - no primer or wallpaper sizing. Where the wallpaper is over spackle, it comes off very easily; where it's glued to bare drywall somewhat more of a challenge - alot of the drywall paper surface peels off with the wallpaper. Be sure to use the scoring tool alot. At first I didn't get good soaking through the paper because I didn't score enough. I am using the Zinsser paper tiger for scoring.

A great product for DIY wallpaper removal.
The best way to remove stubborn wallpaper....moisture!I was introduced to the Walwik Simple Strips by a professional paper hanger. These strips are great at keeping the water on the paper long enough to loosen any paper and backing from your wall, whether plaster or wall board. Way cheaper than hiring professional removal or even buying gallons of special glue release solutions which can also stain their surroundings.

It's just as easy to spray the solution on the wall and then ...
I bought this based on the reviews..but after trying to use these sheets, I couldn't get them to stay on the wall. After soaking them in the solution and putting them on the wall, they just fall off.....not sure if I did something wrong . But I agree, it's just as easy to spray the solution on the wall and then scrape. I think the solution and the garden sprayer were the key to getting the paper off. After scoring the wall, spraying the solution...I could just pull the paper off with my hands...no scraping involved..and then I would spray the backing ..and I was able to easily scrape it off. I did 2 rooms plus a bathroom by myself with no problem. I just thought the 'sheets' were an extra step I didn't need to do. If I had had help, I would have been able to do these rooms in no time flat.

Awesome stuff
It takes a lot of work and must REALLY soak. Scoring doesn't always do the trick. If the wall paper is a nice, thick quality wall paper in plastic material for a bathroom, then just tear the top layer off and spray water onto the bottom later and it comes off just as easy. I had A LOT of very thick high quality wall paper all through out my house when we first bought it from an left couple. The product was useful but towards the end I just tire the top later and wet the bottom later with water and it worked just as well. But if the wall paper was thinner I think I would not have taken the chance. Again, great stuff, but if you have quality wall paper then water will do the trick too.

quality product
product works as advertised making removal much easier. Just make sure you perforate your paper enough for the solution to soak through.
