Can this mount with the long edge along the wall? The pics it look like it has to be installed on a short edge, which won't work for my tight space

The board folds in the middle and can to turned then so that the long edge is along the wall so it would probably work in a small space. However, it is very heavy and must be installed on a reinforced wall. It cannot be installed on drywall. There is nothing in the description about that. You learn that after you get it. Unfortunately, I did not open immediately and I allowed the return window to close so I’m stuck with it.

How deep is the ironing board when folded up? I have an existing space and need to know if the depth will fit.

Hi, when the ironing board is folded up, its size is about wide 12 7/8 inches and length 20 5/8 inchs, depth is about 4 3/4 inches. Hope it will be fit for you. Best regards
