These make good sized cookies. They’re not too small or too big. I like the variety of animals included. I bought these for making holiday cookies with the young children, and these were a hit with them all. The most popular shapes for us are the cat, dog, shark, squirrel, giraffe, rhino, seal, flamingo, pony, bunny, and octopus. These are light-weight and easy to use. They are sharp enough to cut through dough, but won’t injure little bakers. The dough is easily released from the cutter which makes baking easier. These cookie cutters are easy to clean too. These make baking cookies a lot more fun.

This was a great purchase! My wife decorates cookies and is trying to expand her cookie cutter collection, so I got this to surprise her. She LOVES it! There is a great variety as far as the shapes go and she is very excited to play with them. She is also really liking that the cookie cutters are colored coded by theme. Wilton makes great cookie cutters and tons of other products for everyone from the in-home cookie and cake baker all the way up to professional executive chefs. You really can't go wrong with set! There are ocean dwellers and high flying birds. All of the jungle animals, farm animals, marine mammals, and dinosaurs galore! This set also coordinates perfectly with the Wilton 101 piece set. I definitely recommend this cookie cutter set and can't wait to see (and taste) the designs my wife comes up with! Oh, she just reminded me to tell you that many of these cutters can easily be adapted to make even more animals and 'recycled' designs. This is a purchase you will not regret, I promise! I wish there were more sets like this. They make it so simple and inexpensive to learn and decorate many different sets of cookies. Really great purchase!

I just love the variety of the animals!!! The quality is very good, they are steady and not bending. At the same time, I wish they were in smaller size, because 1) we can rarely use more than 10-15 animals at a time (we select similar groups - e.g. farm animals, etc.) ... and 2) I prefer smaller cookies to large ones. Also, storage could be a problem - the container broke after couple of months, and now I just keep them in a large bag (also need to find a place in your kitchen for such large set). But, all in all, they are definitely worth it, especially for such price.

Overall, I actually like the set and I don't have any of the issues that many of the people complained about. I had 50 unique shapes without any duplicates or anything that looks really similar to any of the other animals. I will say the container is garbage but I didn't expect to use it anyway. My biggest complaint in the reason why I gave four stars is that there are a couple of the cutters that are substantially smaller than the others. For example, I don't understand why the whale is so small given that it's a whale, the kangaroo is also very small as is the giraffe. There's like a caterpillar in there that's a pretty good size for a caterpillar and a worm that's pretty small, but other than that, everything was pretty much in the three to four inch range. I think they kind of missed putting a triceratops in there, as it's a very recognizable dinosaur and the pterosaur that they put in there is kind of confusing. Overall, the majority of the animals are easily recognizable just from the cutter, which, as a simple cottage baker who mostly just does marble glaze with an outline for the animal, I need instantly recognizable cutout shapes. Definitely a quick way to build out my 3 to 4-in animal collection.

Super cute, perfect for what I need! Unfortunately the container was smashed and splintered into pieces around the lid and top so it is unusable.

We use these to make gingerbread creatures. The average cutter is around 3.5" wide, tall or diagonal. The size gives you enough space to really get creative with your decorating. We did not flour the shapes before cutting the dough with them and there were no sticking problems. The dolphin did come out of the carrying case a little warped. I think it was warped because the packaging machine put 50 creatures into one carrying case. Please understand, the carrying case (with handle) is really convenient. I just think the machine that plops the cutters into the case isn't as careful as humans are. I was able to easily put all the creatures back into the case without stressing any of the shapes. I'm planning on using them again this weekend, so I'll try putting a telephone book on the dolphin to see if it straightens out. Either way, we did use it and it worked well. Please do seriously consider purchasing these animal pals. They are a lot of fun. Please look at the image above to see all the animal pals included. Enjoy! Another reviewer left a very useful list of the animals that are included in this set - and I wouldn't have bought it without that list! But here is my list which is slightly different - either because I received different cutters or what I think the animals are is different: Farm Animals: Sheep, Pig, Cow, Horse Zoo/Exotic Animals: Gorilla, Wolf, Rhino, Elephant, Crocodile/Alligator, Tortoise, Kangaroo, Camel, Hippo, Giraffe (quite a short neck tho!), Lion (a bit odd this one, looks almost like a Poodle with no tail) Birds:Flamingo, Small bird (generic - sparrow-like), Penguin, Hawk, Goose, Turkey, Dove, Cockerel, Owl, Duck (rubber toy duck shape) Bugs:Caterpillar, Worm (or snake?),Bat (not really a bug, sorry), Bee, Butterfly Dinosaurs: TyRex, Pterodactyl, Stegosaurus, Brontosaurus (Diplodocus?) Water creatures:Crab, Dolphin, Angelfish (Nemo), Frog, Seal, Whale, Octopus, Shark, Seahorse, Fish (generic), Newt (lizard or gecko?) Home and Park Animals: Teddy Bear (sort of a home animal!), Squirrel, Rabbit, Cat, Dog (sitting) The cutters themselves are very sturdy and don't feel cheap at all. The container isn't as bad as other reviewers have found, although it is a huge effort to get all the cutters back in! There is a lip on one edge and other reviewers have mentioned that this means the animals will only face one way. But if you make cookies, sandwiches, icing shapes or similar - then obviously it won't matter as you can just flip the sandwich (or whatever) over. If you plan to use them as stencils for paper, then yes, you'll get animals of one type all facing the same way. I plan to use this for all kind of things - they would also work as a toy for children to sort into types or colors - if you don't mind washing them all afterwards! Highly recommended.

Bought for child to play with playdough. But the size of each cookie cutter is large. Imagine a cookie 4 by 5 inches. That is a lot of playdough to roll out and cut. Also the cutters do get bent if you store them in the container they arrive in. The plastic is very thin. We transferred the cutters to a large grocery bag with handles. Easier to sort and store hanging up. Child does like the variety of animals though -- wild and domestic animals, birds and fish. Using a large paper picnic serving tray the toddler was able to create whole scenes with animals and grass and ponds. It was a fun vacation project at the hotel for a toddler.

動物の形のクッキーが作りたくて購入しました。 とにかく量が多いです(笑) それは良いのですが、一つ一つの形が大きすぎてこんなにでっかいクッキーは出来上がっても食べづらいし、個数も作れません。しかもステンレスでなくプラスチック製なので油分の多いクッキー生地を入れるとべたべたして洗いづらいし、型は抜きにくいですね(-_-;) なのでステンレス製の普通のクッキー型の方が良かったなと思いました。

Viene una cantidad ingente de cortadores por el precio. A mi niña de 2 años le encanta, además de para galletas sirven para jugar con plastilina y similar. Para sacarle un fallo, los cortadores me parecen algo grandes para hacer galletas. El anuncio indica un tamaño medio de 7,6 cm, pero yo diría que el tamaño oscila entre los 10 y los 15cm. Por consiguiente, también el recipiente es enorme, creo que mide unos 40cm de alto.

1. Bad news first. I purchased in August 2021 for $23.99. Four years later (July 2025)? They're $54.77. Be serious. 2. Good news. It's still a great product - but *more than double" the price? So done with hearing about how "COVID affected everything." Anyway, these shapes are terrifically awesome - I've actually made cookies to give away, just to be able to use them. Even if you're a terrible artist, you can't help but produce fantastic-looking cookies - even with sloppy decorating, they still look quite groovy and even purposely quirky! 3. Other buyers remark on the difficulty of storing these in their original floppy think plastic container... they aren't meant to be stored in that - obviously. Use your imagination! I have mine on display in a giant see-through lemonade dispenser, where they fit perfectly (see above). 4. I got no repeat animals, and there are critters in here you'd never expect - you could do all-bird cookies, all ocean-life cookies, you name it!
