I use Afrin for a different purpose. A doctor confided in me that it stops bleeding faster than anything else. you could use for minot cuts. If you get a cut from shaving or any other minor cuts, you apply Afrin on a cotton patch or a cotton tipped squab and apply it on the cut. Within minutes the bleeding stops. I keep it on hand for this use and not as a nasal decongestion per se but it probably works well for this intended use.

Received my 3 bottles of Afrin. Cannot open any of the 3. Cap just clicks & turns, even when pushing down on the top.
