The best travel iron
I have two of these great little steam irons and they are very compact yet sturdy . I’ve used them all over the world and find them to perform beautifully .

Calling all Quilters and Sewists!
I absolutely love this iron. I sew every single day and I keep this iron on my table right next to my sewing machine. My favorite thing about this iron is that it doesn’t turn off after a 8 minutes. If you sew or quilt, you know how annoying it is to need to press something only to find a cold iron. The size of this iron is perfect for my hands and it’s not heavy! It gets nice and hot and removes all wrinkles. . The steam is fantastic. Some people think the water tank is too small, but this is a small travel iron and shouldn’t be expected to hold a ton of water. I just keep a bottle of water on my table and refill as needed. I also use a WorkLion pressing mat that is fantastic with this iron. I almost didn’t order this iron because I dislike the color so much. However, it’s not so purple in person and I can can live with it.

Works great, perfect size for a dorm-sized room.
Needed something small I could keep in my room at home (around the size of a dorm room). Easy to put away, the handle locks into place easily and the button on the bottom to fold it back in isn’t easy to accidentally push so no fear of your hand flying down. It’s a great size, but due to the size the water container (the handle) isn’t super big and will probably need to be refilled often if you steam a lot of clothing. Heats up quick but takes a while to cool down (not a big deal for me, I just put it in the corner until it’s cool). The cord is a good length and easy to plug into the wall. It had a bit of a funky smell the first time I used it but I am assuming thats because, well, it was the first time I used it. Knocked out the wrinkles in my shirt real easy.

Small but powerful
With increasingly bad arthritis in my wrist and hands, I’ve been finding it very difficult to iron. Lightweight irons just don’t cut it and heavier irons are just too difficult to maneuver. I’ve always had good luck with Rowenta irons so decided to try this one. Yes it’s small but it’s truly lightweight, easy to maneuver and has great steam. It might take a few more passes than a larger iron but there’s far less stress on my hand and wrist, and the results are excellent. My only very minor complaint is that the temperature dial is kind of hard to rotate. So far I’m very happy with this purchase.

Frequent business or regular social traveler must have gadget for crisp garments every time.
What a fantastic, little gadget, that any if not every, frequent traveler, who cares about their business attire and/or special events clothing being used at attended events and such, - just aught to carry along for that added peace of mind. A great brand in the pro-iron industry too. This travel model is dual-voltage too and very compact. Yet feels sturdy. You' ll appreciate it's ultra-smooth chrome-ish/mirror-finish stainless steel bottom plate that's just phenomenal at disbursement of steam through its extra-wide coverage area. I've had other brands and style and in my honest unpaid opinion, this is the letter hands down! Should you be in the market for said item - buy with confidence. Now the negative here for me anyways - it doesn't come in black or silver in this wattage nor another and for a guy purple just isn't up there in my favorites but it is quite handy nonetheless.

Love the size and performance
I was looking for a small travel-type iron to use for quilting and take to quilting class. I've heard this brand is good so thought I would give it a try. I love it. It's bigger than a lot of travel irons and it feels very heavy duty. I was a little concerned about the handle but I have used it for quilting and don't find that you can iron like normal. Of course you would want to be careful not to press really hard as the handle could break but with normal use it seems to work just fine. I have not used the steam function as I'm not planning to put water in it, I like a spritz bottle instead. It heats up very quickly and gets plenty hot. The dial is a little awkward to turn but it's not that big of a deal. I do wish there was a light when you turn it on so you know at a glance that you've turned it on. It does come with a nice zipper pouch to keep the iron in. I really like it and would recommend it.

Craft project pressing iron
Useful for pressing fabric scraps, ribbons, some papers, etc for craft projects. I'd rather use a steamer for clothes wrinkled in travel.

Disappointing Performance for a Travel Iron
I had high hopes for this Rowenta Travel Iron, expecting the quality the brand is usually known for, but I was quite disappointed. As someone who travels frequently, a reliable compact iron is essential, and unfortunately, this one didn't meet my needs. Firstly, the heating was inconsistent. It took a long time to heat up, and even on the highest setting, it struggled to remove wrinkles from basic cotton shirts. I found myself going over the same areas repeatedly, which was frustrating and time-consuming, especially when trying to get ready in a hotel room. The "Pro Compact" design is indeed small and lightweight, which is a plus for packing. However, the small size also translates to a tiny soleplate, making ironing larger items like dresses or pants quite tedious. Another issue I encountered was with the steam function. It was weak and sporadic, barely making a difference in tackling stubborn creases. I even followed the instructions carefully regarding water levels, but the performance didn't improve. Overall, while the portability is a selling point, the lackluster heating power and ineffective steam function make this Rowenta Travel Iron a poor choice for anyone who needs reliable wrinkle removal on the go. I ended up having to rely on hotel irons anyway, defeating the purpose of bringing my own. I would not recommend this product.

Wow Rowenta - What a great product !
Rare that i write product reviews but this one deserve one in my opinion. I purchased this Rowenta iron for my trip in Sicily having to stay at 7 different hotels in 2 weeks. I like when my clothes are perfectly pressed and could not be certain that at each hotel over there an iron would be at my disposal. The size, weight and robustness of this iron is perfect and easy to bring in carry-on and back pack. The water compartment capacity is enough to do two clothes if using the vapor pressure continuously and easy to refill in need be. Great as well that there is a switch to select between 110 / 220Volts which was required in Italy. It is very quick to bring to temperature set-point and handling this little guy is a charm. To a point that I prefer this one over my older regular size iron. The only drawback is if this falls on the floor, there is great probability of breaking the handle so to be careful. Thanks for reading.

Best little iron
This is my 2nd time I buy this iron because I liked it so much. It is the hottest little iron on the market but what out for the handle, do not put too much pressure as it will break and the handle will not stay up any longer. I use this iron for quilt retreats and when I had tennis elbow I could not use my big heavy rowenta pro master. It allowed me to continue quilting and did a fine job...it goes through water a lot but it only has maybe a half or three quarters of a cup. I just kept a water jug around. The pointy nose is useful as well but it’s small size was useful for working on small quilt blocks and easy to carry around for a quilt retreat.
