legit marine grade grease that holds up
This stuff is the real deal for anything that sees water, it does not wash out and actually protects against corrosion which is exactly what you want in a marine environment. The tube is easy to squeeze into the spots you need to hit and a little goes pretty far so it lasts. Been using it on my jet ski hardware and fittings all season with zero issues.

Fairly thick and stays in place for what I use it for
Fairly thick grease, about like wheel bearing grease. I used this on a vise I have mounted out in the weather, when I got the vise it had a really thin grease filled with grit on it so I cleaned it out and covered it with this grease and the vise now works a lot smoother when running the jaw in and out. I will have to see how well it holds up to the weather which I am hoping is fairly well since it's marine grease. I will also have to see how well it handles the heat of the vise being exposed to the sun, if I have any issue's with it I will edit my review.

A good size for a DIY boat owner who wants to do some maintenance themselves. I bought this for some maintenance on my new-to-me Starcraft bowrider with an Alpha One Gen 2 sterndrive.

Excellent grease made for boaters
This stuff is good to use on basically anything on your boat. It does not easily get washed away or contaminated by water, and allows for ease of disassembly years later. Put it on shafts, splines, bolts, nuts, pins, cables, seals, linkages, levers, controls, wheels... basically anything on your boat exposed to water that could seize or requires lubrication.

"The Standard Benchmark" grease for outboards and sterndrives
This is the grease most often recommended for use on water-exposed parts on outboards and sterndrives. It works and there is nothing that is obviously better - that's why it's been around for at least 40+ years. Do the maintenance, use this grease and your outboard will last for decades.

Bought other marine grease and it didn’t seem to hold up as well. This is no science based opinion though. This one tube should last quite a few maintenance cycles.
