Great product, easy to install, looks great!
This works well, installs in a snap. I had it in the wall within 45 minutes of delivery! Plenty of room for the iron and the spray water bottle most of us use while ironing. The directions leave a bit to be desired (they mostly all do these days, so this may help. You'll need the following tools to install this ironing board cabinet: Stud finder Sheetrock saw Drill and bit set Phillips screwdriver or power screwdriver 2' level Tape measure Pencil Vacuum cleaner I strongly suggest that you choose the location carefully as you are going to recess this into a wall. Be sure there is no electrical wires or plumbing pipes in the wall cavity you are installing this into. Also, if your interior wall that you have selected has studs on 24" centers you'll need to frame the opening down to 14 1/2" in order to mount the cabinet. The door attachment to the recessed cabinet is a little tricky to do by yourself, you may want to have someone give you a hand holding the door in place while you screw it in. Be sure to drill the holes into the cabinet BEFORE you install it into the wall or you'll struggle to get the door to hang properly. My wife loves the ironing board out of the way and easy to access. In addition, right out of the box it looks great on the wall.

Great space saver
Had this installed professionally in my laundry room. Love the hideaway feature. Doesn't take up any space and the board folds up nicely and tucks away inside, I can also keep spray starch & other small items on the shelf. Love mine.

The best purchase I've ever made
I've done a lot of research on stow-away ironing boards and finally had decided to give this one a go. It looked a little cheap in the picture (maybe because it was white) but I had a lot of faith purchasing from Amazon, because of their excellent customer service. I can't describe how happy I am with this product. It did not look cheap, was made with precision, very easy to install, convenient to use (I love that the board swivels to either side), looks very nice in the wall and soooo much cheaper than any other websites. My other concern was that it is a short board (I've always used a standard long one)but once I needed to iron a tablecloth I just folded it in half for ironing and it wasn't a problem at all. It is such a breeze to iron these days and I love not having an ironing board and an iron taking up room around the house. It's been almost a year of owning it and I'm still so very excited about this purchase! Thank you, Amazon! If it wasn't for you, I would've ended up purchasing a very similar product from Lowe's at 3-times the price.

The oak itself had manufacturing damage
Good news: -- We found the instructions to be clear. -- All components were present and the hardware was appropriate. -- Installed product looks good and works well. Bad news: -- The predrilled holes in the door for the hinge hardware were wayyyy too tiny for screwing into oak. We had to predrill a larger diameter. -- One set of predrilled holes was "off" in its placement in one direction. We used the hinge as a template, marked our own, and re-did the predrilled holes. -- I wanted a natural oak finish -- just urethane. The unfinished oak (door and trim) needed a *lot* of sanding before it was appropriate to brush on the urethane. -- There were a series of deep knicks along the top edge of the door (I'm tall-ish, I would see it after installation) that needed heavy sanding to make less obvious. -- There was a defect in the oak trim of the "box" where an edge was splintering off. Again, more sanding to at least avoid injury in the future. I'm not talking about minor imperfections vs unreasonable standards of a perfectionist. I'm talking about shoddy work in the manufacturer's wood shop that one could fix but, for the price and the advertising claims, I didn't expect to have to do that much!

decent unit for the price point
Well packaged and mostly assembled. Door appears to be molded mdf with a textured vinyl wrap on the outside. I made to mistake of dropping it while mounting the door to the frame which tweaked the corner more easily than I would have expected - so be very careful handling it and be sure to install the door before mounting the frame into the wall. It would have been nice to have door hinge pilot holes on both sides of the cabinet to ease door instal regardless of which side you choose to mount it on. Also took me a bit to understand how to mount the hinges to the door since the hinges are a bit unusual. However once I figured it out it was easy and effective. The board itself and the internal mechanism works well so far and no issue with the fit of the board cover. The back is somewhat flimsy but that is pretty inconsequential since it’s buried in the wall. Overall a decent unit for the price point

It works but not a quality product
I had another brand in my previous home and it was much better quality but this one is OK for the price. My handyman had some trouble getting the door on correctly as the instructions are poorly written for installing the door. The metal bars on the fold out part do not operate smoothly but I rubbed some bar soap on the and they are working better now. The ironing board cover does not fit well either. So with all this considered I only give it 3 stars. It works but not the best.

Wall mount ironing board
Creatively built nice. 👍🏻 I would suggest they should put an electrical outlet box also.

Absolute garbage build quality and instructions- Just garbage!
Absolute garbage build quality!!! Garbage instructions! Let's list the shoddy workmanship and design - Screw and cap nut that hold the board to the hinge bar - came stripped - It was striped because the holes weren't aligned but the factory workers that put it together just rammed it in and sent it on it's way - lack of quality control - The track for the hinge bar to move was routered out - had burn marks and wasn't chamfered off or cleaned up edgewise in any way - The interior wood seems to have an extremely thin and inconsistent layer of paint/primer- looks bad- either paint it fully or leave bare - i feel like I need to go in and paint it now - Shelves are painted but the edges are bare- again- be consistent- - The metal heat plate is cheaply stapled in and not even cut square! looks like someone was asleep at the press. - The name tag fell off right out of the box! that should have told me every thing about this sorry unit right off the bat - The door is laminated with the cheapest laminate- seems are rough and poorly finished - Ikea should have designed the instructions and the door hinges/ mounts- there's no pilot holes of any kind and the instructions have the orientation of the hinges wrong - The location (on the instructions) for the hook are completely off- If you follow their instructions- the hook will hit the frame- had to redo it twice - now I have holes on the inside of the door that I need to cover - oh and the screw snapped off while I was at it with just the slighted torque- more garbage! Garbage- Garbage - Garbage! Ikea - save us Ikea! this would be an easy win for Ikea- they can probably build it cheaper and better with holes that line up and instructions that are easy read Once installed and after 3 trips to the big box store to get screws etc to make up for the garbage they sent me- it's finally in after a day of work (should have been 1hr tops) It does look decent though.

Excellent product, great price!
Very easy to set up. Ironing board is sturdy and takes up little space. The storage inside is also nice. I had to change Iron as mine had a wide base and did not fit. There is a place on the door for opening, but I added a pull knob and it looks great!

impossible à installer sur un mur normal, il faut des "montants"
Le meuble ne se fixe pas comme une étagère normale, il faut découper le mur! Et ceci, on le découvre dans le mode d'emploi, une fois tout déballé.
