Honeywell makes great HEPA filters. I have the HPA-050 short black air purifier in my bedroom and I keep it running at all times. I have year-round allergies and I honestly have no idea how I went so long without having an air purifier next to the bed. I have no doubt that this filter actually does its job. If I ever happen to turn the purifier off, the bedroom ends up smelling quite stale and I will wake up with a stuffy nose the next day. The price for this filter is very reasonable and it lasts quite a long time. If you want to make it last even longer, I strongly suggest using a carbon pre-filter with it. Don't skip that part. There was one time I did not put in a carbon pre-filter when I changed out the HEPA filter (I thought I had a spare at home, turns out I did not) and the HEPA wore out significantly faster. Honeywell sells carbon pre-filters, but I think they are overpriced, so I suggest looking on Amazon for a large carbon filter sheet and just cutting it to size to fit in your purifier. You get so much more for the money that way, and it will extend the life of the HEPA filter and also block out additional odors and whatnot.

Will buy again. No extra smells, easy to use with good quality and fit for MY air purifier.

Buying extra pre-filter mesh is a waste of money...just wash it out. As for cleaning the actual air cleaner...I take it outside and use my air compressor. Blasting the living crap out of it. And then, I just wipe things off with a damp towel. Works like a charm.

Every thing worked out well since it was same manufacture. Fitting was very good. My filter was the short desk modal. But, can handle a good size office or bed room. I run mine 24/7. Does help the air quality. You'll be able to fell it at night.

it doesn't fit my product

The filter fits right in to the back of my Honeywell 050. I took a picture on the left is the old HEPA filter after about 53 weeks. On the right is the new one still wrapped in plastic. The filter in person is a bit more radiant than the picture can show. This is my second HEPA filter from amazon; the first the year before. Where I'm at there is a lot of trees and grass, lots of dust since it is in my bedroom, no smoking so that isn't something I've had to use this for, and one cat.

I’m allergic to dog but we still have 3 that sleep indoors. I keep an air purifier in our bedroom and it keep me from waking up with with itchy eyes and a runny nose. I’d like to put one in room of the house! We also like the “white noise” from the fan at night. It keeps us from waking up with every little sound.

This is the brand name replacement filter for the small room HEPA. It works very well and really only kicked on the indicator light for replacement just after 1 calendar year which is grésât and cost-effective.
