Item works great if studs are 16" apart.
This item works fine if the studs you are mounting it to are 16" apart, which post buildings built to code are. I was unlucky enough to have to mount this item at a location in my office where that is NOT the case, but that has nothing to do the the product itself.

Poor quality control
I ordered 4 of these and sent 3 back. They ship in great boxes and are well packed, however something is not right at the factory. Two of them could not even be opened.Don't waste your time, buy something else.

Product Photo Not of Actual Product!
The computer station does what it says on the listing and overall we're quite happy with it but it is important to note that the photo here on Amazon is not representative of the actual product being sold. I have attached the photo of the actual product for sale from the manufacturer's website. They only had the gray version photographed on their website so I'm guessing that might be the reason for using a photo of a similar but different product for the listing.Note that the actual product has the wire grommets at the top as opposed to the bottom, the 'table' surface is not smooth and has tracks for the retention brackets in several locations throughout, and there is only a support for the table surface when extended on one side, not both.That said, other than these differences, the product performs exactly as advertised and has worked out well for our purposes.

Better luck next time..
Shipped to the site with a dent in the side and the laptop surface was not on its hinges. Got out the drill and after about 30 minutes had a workable solution. Other than that, it's a great product..

Bought this as a used item. Seller never mentioned that it was partially assembled and that it was assembled wrong. Now I have to buy the right tools to disassemble it in order to do it right. Very frustrating. Other than that, the product is fine. Nice and solid and once it’s put together properly, it will be good for what I am using it for. Good product, bad seller.
