How would folks compare the oil to the eau de parfum? Which do you prefer and why?

The oil is much richer and longer lasting—a little goes a long way. Plus you can stick it in your purse and keep it with you. I was always an eau de parfum girl until this oil.

It's pretty long lasting as it's any oil. It's not over-the-top scent, you kinda have to lean-in to smell. It's a very pretty white, heady floral yet clean.

what perfume would you compare the scent to?

Flowery like Este Lauders Beautiful Love. Smells like gardenias.

Is this genuine kai? i purchased some earlier via amazon & it was not the same fragrance as the original i had purchased from a brick & mortar store..

Yes, the one I got was the original Kai. That was over a year ago. I wish they’d use a different name for the different fragrance.
