This photographic accessory is exquisitely crafted, and as such, can easily become a powerful magnifying lens when being used in direct sunlight. I was holding the ball with the supplied polishing cloth, when I felt a burning sensation in my palm. The focused sunlight had burned through the cloth and started burning my hand.Be ready to have lots of fun, but be cautious; it could easily start a fire if handled carelessly.

You do have to be careful with the sun because it did start to burn my hand, but it creates cool pictures! I just got a bad a** camera for my birthday, and remembered this awesome tool to practice with. My camera was given to me specifically for my 30th birthday trip to NYC… my trip is postponed so while I’m learning the new camera, I’m also able to use this awesome ball as well. Honestly. It’s brilliant. I just bought a smaller one with a stand so I can make them their own little Instagram page lol. I’m dumb.

Arrived fast. Boxed and includes a nice soft bag to store the ball. Great quality. Bought as a gift for a budding photographer, something exciting and unique to shoot cool pictures with. 5 Stars all around.

I like this item. I haven't had a lot of occasions to use it yet. Please be aware that the sun shining through the ball will burn you. It got me so I bought something to help hold it. It's not ideal, but it will make it so I don't have to hold it. Be careful not to leave it in front of windows or anywhere where the sun can shine through it.

So much fun photographing with this. Only wish it had a good size base to set it on in certain situations. Love my prism ball.

Daughter received as a gift. It takes some time to learn how to use correctly but she’s happy with it!
