You Can’t Go Wrong with Parker
You really can’t go wrong with Parker ink. I decided to try the Blue-Black this time, and I have zero complaints. The color is a perfect balance—deep and professional like black, but with just enough blue to give it character and contrast on the page. It looks fantastic for everyday writing, journaling, or even more formal use. It’s subtle without being boring. As expected with QUINK, the flow is smooth and reliable. It starts up easily, writes consistently, and dries quickly without smudging. I also appreciate the added lubricity—it makes writing feel effortless, especially during longer sessions. The bottle design is classic and practical, with a stable base and secure lid. Overall, this is dependable, high-quality ink that performs beautifully. If you’re considering Blue-Black, go for it—you won’t be disappointed.

One of the most reliable, good quality and least expensive of fountain pen inks.
Just as it should be; I've a long history of using Quink that goes back to the 1960's at a school, where it was mandatory to use an ink pen for all the submitted written work. I don't know if the formulation has changed, but it's just as it has always been... except for the price. Easy to clean the nib/fountain pen, color dependable, flows as expected depending on the pen nib.

Great value for water resistant ink
This ink has lovely, wet flow, dries quicky, is a classic blue-black hue, and has strong water resistance. Plus it is a great value for the price. I have almost all the water resistant blue-black inks commonly available and this is too tier.

This is the first fountain pen ink I bought many years ago. I was surprised it was still available. It is a true blue black ink. No shading or shimmer. Dries quickly. Exceptional value

If you want one ink, it may be the one.
I heard that each company has different Blue-Black inks, as you know. It looks more blue when you write. It looks darker when it dries.
