Smells great

I purchased this because I was at a wedding and I kept smelling this amazing perfume. I finally tracked the woman down and she told me this was the EXACT product. It lasts all day even through work! Even my Versace perfume doesn't last all day sometimes. I'm impressed. Upon first putting it on I couldn't really smell anything but like mineral oil base or something perfumeless, but once it warmed up on my pulse points, I got whiffs of myself all day long. Beautiful smell. Makes you feel mysterious and regal for sure. People who buy a musk oil perfume need to realize it smells different on everyone due to body chemistry. Musk, even synthetic, is just one of those things some people can't smell die to hormonal differences. That includes sometimes not "smelling" at all. There are times I wear this and never smell it on myself but get compliments all day long. I also can still smell where I put the oil on my decolage (chest) after putting my clothes through the wash! The scent quality is amazing, however it's not that strong on everyone. My bottle doesn't look at all like the picture though, it has an Egyptian woman with Auric Blends on it and the cap is gold.

Have purchased this several times before and loved it. Ordered four (4) this time and they have ABSOLUTELY ZERO SCENT. Nothing, not even a whiff. Also ordered a larger bottle and same thing. No scent whatsoever. This is very disappointing, because I love the scent and usually, it is strong enough that you have to be careful not to put too much on or it would be overpowering. Not sure if I will return and try to reorder or not, but I suppose it’s possible this was just a bad batch.

When I first applied the oil, all I could smell was just...oil. No scent whatsoever. Bamboozled by the rave reviews once again! The bottle fell out of my purse while I was in my car and I didn't bother picking it up. That's how done I was with it. While I was running errands, I was getting compliments. "They must be referring to the other scents I'm wearing". Three days later, I put it to the test. The bottle was warm from being in the heat for over 72 hours. I guess the heat intensified it because I could smell it a tad better, but not that much. Everywhere I went, people were stopping me to find out what I was wearing. I was getting so many compliments! They said the scent left an intoxicating trail. Sounds a little dramatic to me but okay...I'll take it! The downside to wearing this oil is that people want to stand extremely close to you in line. Not even kidding. I have to give them a dirty look to back up. Overall, I will be buying this again.

Before I purchased this, I read something on “Pheromones” (Smells that attract people to you - like chemical magnetism), so I looked up “pheromone” perfume and this popped up as one of the Amazon results. I read reviews. Some were good, some were bad, but I figured for how inexpensive it is, I’d just try it. And I’m really glad that I tried it. I haven’t had as many compliments on my scent than I receive on a daily basis when I wear this perfume. Strangers, family members, patients at my job — all have been smelling me like a hound and wondering what I’m wearing. Whenever I tell them “it’s called Egyptian Goddess” they always respond “Well, that’s really fitting because you smell like a goddess!” It’s a soft, clean, fresh smell. Very feminine. A little sweet, but subtle. It’s literally a smell that anyone could be drawn to when you pass them by. It has that power. I’m not even kidding lol To address the reviews that say they don’t smell anything, the key is to apply it right after you shower. Make sure you don’t shower with strongly scented body wash because it will overpower the soft fresh smell of the “Egyptian goddess” perfume oil. So, right after you shower and are clean, roll the perfume oil all over your arm, neck and chest and rub it in. After a while you might become nose blind to it because it is so a part of you that you can’t detect the scent — but others can. TRUST ME. This one worker at CVS told me that I smell amazing and that she could smell me throughout the store. I was shocked because I didn’t think it was that noticeable, but it is. I’ve gotten so many compliments on this; more than any other scent I’ve ever worn. It’s not just “oh you smell nice” — it’s more like “Omg you smell so good. What is that?” So I’m going to stick to this scent. I just ordered 3 more since it’s on sale. I figured I would give one to a friend :)

EDIT: 12/31/13 ***REVIEWERS*** I have learned from other users of this product that Auric Blends has changed the Egyptian Goddess scent in the last six months or so. It seems my review is not of the original scent and according to them, the original scent is far superior than the new watered down and altered scent which is what I have reviewed. PLEASE TAKE CAUTION that the older reviews of this scent are reviews of the scent you can no longer attain and the more recent reviews, like mine, are reviews of this different version of Egyptian Goddess. It's a shame but let this knowledge aid you in your decision about this. Please pay attention to only the more recent reviews of this scented oil. Thank you. *** Okay so I just received this roll on oil perfume and the moment I opened it, I sniffed the bottle. I could barely smell anything so here I am confused and wondering if the less positive reviews were true and this perfume really had little to no scent! Not only that, but the scent wasn't sweet although I don't think I really knew what to expect. Still I decided to give it a chance; I rolled some on my arm. 10 minutes later, I notice I can smell it a bit. I brought my arm up and sniffed- aahhhh! There it is, the scent was much stronger! The perfume needs a bit of heat to strengthen up and emanate properly so definitely don't judge it by sniffing the bottle. As for the scent, a lot of reviews are very general about the actual scent so you might not know what to expect of the scent. I'm definitely growing to like the scent, myself. I gave it 4 stars because it wasn't what I was used to but it's definitely not an offensive smell. The smell is not sweet. There is a slight musk to it and the smell really does change according to your body chemistry. Sometimes it smells like incense to me, or an earthy and warm scent, sometimes it smells like a fresh river, and other times it smells like a sensual massage oil with a bit of spice to it. It's really difficult to describe now that I'm trying, haha! BUT I can definitely say the scent is correctly named. When I smell this perfume, I imagine being in a lavish Egyptian temple as a queen with a papyrus-laden river flowing nearby. It smells "queenly," it smells exotic and regal. No old lady nonsense, but a scent gives off an aura of mystery, sensuality, and power. It's lightly scented so it's nothing that will make you sneeze. If you'd like to sweeten it a little bit, a drop of Pure Instinct blends with it quite nicely, I must say! It still retains its aura but with a non-clashing hint of sweetness. I'm used to more sweet and floral scents so this is quite the change for me, but I am certainly adapting quickly. I only applied the oil to my arm near my wrist and it's been 5 hours and I can still smell it in a pleasant and non-overpowering way. It's a keeper!

It smells amazingly beautiful

Me and my sister used to buy a perfume oil called Egyptian Musk from a store at least 10 years back. The store closed down and we’ve been trying to hunt this smell down ever since. I’ve purchased Egyptian Musk scents from other companies and they didn’t even come close. UNTIL NOW! I found it and IM SO HAPPY! I read the reviews so I decided to give it a try and I’m SOOOO glad I did! This is it! It’s such a clean, fresh, scent. Almost like fresh laundry but with musk! It’s amazing & it PROJECTS! if you want to smell clean & gorgeous all day, buy Egyptian Goddess! I dabbed some on my wrist and it’s alllll I’ve smelled all day. 10/10! I can’t wait to try their other scents!
