Would this brake be capable of bending 20 or 18 gauge sheet metal at the 4' length?

I would be comfortable bending 20 gauge with mine. 18 is getting heavy for this unit but would probably do it occasionally.

Will this work to make chimney flashing?

It will bend any flashing metal as long as it is 22 Ga or less. I build many different flashings using this brake. I use it for duct work, flashings, even small fascia repairs. I love that it is so portable.
