ITS OK
Ive found the pebble very easy to set up initially ,load the batteries ,and the press the buttons ,and the LED lights start to flash ,then come the problems ,the receiver pebble that you connect to your camera via the hot shoe connection does no fire the cameras shutter ,when you press the transmitter button .I tried using in Bulb mode ,and still the shutter does not fire .I tried to look on Youtube for some educational videos about this product ,but there are not really any good ones I could find .There is one saving grace though ,the pebble comes with two conventional cables ,and when you use an old fashioned physical wired connection between camera and the devise ,hey presto the shutter fires ,so for now I've gone back to that for controlling the camera remotely .Of course I've only had this product a few weeks ,and maybe its me not being tech savvy enough .

Nifty and work well
*Edit* Mine stopped working after 3 months. Just won't release the shutter anymore. Think it might be a problem with the wire, as they still communicate fine with each other.Really happy with these. It’s the little things that make the difference for me - the lanyards are such a simple idea but it is so much easier to have the controller hanging from my wrist rather than having to constantly put it in my pocket or leave it somewhere. Also the size of the ‘pebble’ - so petite, so much less hassle to move around with than some of the unnecessarily large other options, and doesn’t fall out of my pocket if I do decide to put it there. Why only four stars? The location of where the cable goes into the camera-mounted counterpart is very annoying, you basically can’t look into the viewfinder or use the screen on the back because the wire is in the way. The cable should connect to the side. Anyway I’ve taken to using the lanyard to dangle that piece from my tripod rather than mounting it on the camera hotshoe. Not ideal but doesn’t bother me too much.Somebody mentioned the battery life. I’ve been using these nearly every day for a few weeks (I’m a professional photographer) and not had any issues.

Good ergonomic shutter release.
Positives: Good ergonomic remote control. The design is nice and does not look cheap. Easy to setup and use. Simple controls, excellent range. Indicator lights are usefulNegatives: did not come with batteries. Would have preferred a physical shutter release lock (like on wired triggers) than the hold down for a few seconds and it locks as it has caught me out when using fast shutter. I don’t like that it turns itself off after a period of inactivity.
