Marmitek Surround Anywhere 221 - Audio Transmitter for Speakers, Digital Latency-Free Transmission, Wireless Surround Speaker Connection, Connect Two Speakers Wirelessly

Perfect; does exactly what is says. Simple to install.

This was the only currently available, new surround sound sender and receiver I could find for purchase that would allow conversion of a 5.1 system using standard speaker cables for the rear speakers. The two parts of the device seem well made and look quite discreet (compared to the ugly looking previous 220 version!) and were easy to connect and set up. The sender is about 3m away from the receiver and the quality of the connection is great with no noticeable loss of clarity or delay in sound. I haven't tested at high volumes yet but for standard film viewing the rears are working as well as they did when wired into the amplifier directly. I have only used this system for three days but I'm very happy with it so far!

The kit was straightforward to set up. The sound is good. My only negatives is having to get adaptors for the plugs and the built in amplifier needs to be more powerful. I can't get a balanced audio level between the front and rear speakers.

Par expérience, j'ai plutôt tendance à me méfier des solutions de son home cinéma ou hifi sans fil mais là il faut bien reconnaitre que ça fonctionne parfaitement : il n'y a pas de latence et le son est bon. Le système permet de connecter mes enceintes arrières sur une installation Focal Sib / Cub (ancienne génération) et je retrouve le même son que lorsque j'avais une liaison filaire dans mon ancien appartement. A noter que l'installation du système est très simple et ne nécessite absolument pas de compétence particulière. Deux bémols toutefois : - Le 1er concerne le mode d'alimentation qui implique, de part le positionnement des boutons et la nécessité d'intervenir manuellement sur les deux modules, de laisser le système alimenté en permanence, même quand il est inutilisé. Il aurait été bien de prévoir un bouton accessible qui éteint les deux modules ou, à minima, une logique de mise en veille qui ne semble pas exister. - Le 2nd concerne peut-être mon installation en particulier mais, quand je colle l'oreille aux enceintes, j'entend un petit souffle. Peut-être ais je mis le volume depuis le boitier Marmitek trop fort ?

Werkt zoals omschreven. Ideale oplossing om geen kabels te hoeven leggen Het enige is dat je eerst de ontvanger moet uitzetten en na een aantal seconden pas de zender. Doe je dat niet dan hoor een luide tik jn de speakers.

Great product. Easy to setup and works as described

Like many, I was suspicious of wireless speaker connections for my passive speakers, then I decided to try it. I couldn't be happier with the Marmitek 08200. I've got it connected to two Klipsch R-15M bookshelf speakers which serve as the surround speakers in my home theater system. The Transmitter is located around 4 meters (13 feet) from the receiver, across the room. The sound is crisp and clear and I am experiencing no interference, interruption or popping in the signal, neither from household appliances, nor when people walk or pass between the units. Now, I'm not an expert who can talk about frequency response or such like, but I will say that for the average consumer, 95% plus of the people, there will be no audible difference between this wireless solution and a wired one. And wireless is so much more well organized and easy to set-up than to run wires through the walls. I also had concerns about the amp being rated at only 25w RMS, however, after watching dozens of movies and shows and measuring a maximum of 90db sound out of the speakers, which for the Klipsch R-15M means only a 1w power requirement, 25w is more than enough. I suppose if you have your speakers positioned 10m away from your listening position, or if you use them for full-blast parties it could be an issue, but again, for 95% plus of home theater users, you'll be fine. So, yes, excellent product. The only audio artefact I noticed, is a VERY slight hiss from the speakers. I have to put my ear against the speakers to hear it. Even at 20 centimetres, the hiss is no longer audible. One small suggestion: although the units have on/off switches, you'll still need to walk over to the units and bend down to wherever you've placed them to switch them on/off. I have them connected through a couple of remote controlled power outlets, and can turn the units on/off from my sofa, just like my TV and AVR. Utilissimo per creare la tua sala cinema senza l'impedimento dei collegamenti. Normalmente, in un impianto audio surround è necessario posizionare gli altoparlanti posteriori collegandoli all'impianto utilizzando cavi conduttori che, sistematicamente, sono brutti da vedere. Con questo apparecchio si risolve questo problema, in quanto il collegamento viene effettuato tramite bluetooth e non fisicamente via cavo; il suo funzionamento è perfetto e non ho rilevato nessun ritardo apprezzabile sull'audio riprodotto dalle casse collegate; il prodotto arriva già configurato e basta effettuare i collegamenti, che si limitano al collegamento delle uscite casse sorround al trasmettitore e le casse surround al ricevitore, per utilizzarlo immediatamente senza necessità di effettuare alcun tipo di accoppiamento perchè arrivano già accoppiati. Gli unici due appunti che si potrebbero fare sono: il sistema rimane sempre acceso e non esiste nessuno stand-by, ma considerando il bassissimo consumo, questo potrebbe essere un problema relativo; il secondo appunto è che, nel caso si vogliano spegnere dopo l'utilizzo, è necessario spegnere prima il ricevitore e poi il trasmettitore per evitare un fastidioso "bump" negli altoparlanti; per l'accensione bisogna invertire le operazioni: prima accendere il trasmettitore e poi il ricevitore. Con un sistema a controllo vocale come quello che ho installato (Alexa), ho automatizzato il tutto con una semplice routine che 1-accende l'impianto, 2-accende il trasmettitore, 3-accende il ricevitore; la seconda routine la utilizzo per lo spegnimento con la giusta sequenza. Concludendo, mi sento sicuramente di consigliarlo perchè oltre al funzionamento perfetto senza nessun disturbo, si risolve definitivamente il problema dei cavi di collegamento.
