Is the whole thing washable including the filter?

I have 2 filters. I changed as needed. The dirty filter, I wash the outer mesh with soap and water. The sponge filter, I rinse and dry. The paper filter, I brush with a baby bottle brush, then spray with my kitchen sink sprayer with warm warmer. Then use a hair dryer to start the drying process. Let sit on sink till completely dry. Store away till needed.
