Why a 5 star review??? Due to the value you get for the price paid. Higher than expected quality, higher than expected appearance, and higher than expected ease of use. The wheels rolled nicely, the zippers worked as expected, and the handles worked without any hang ups. 4 piece, 4 wheel, for less than $140 (with tax)??? Awesome! As a couple, we just took this set on a cruise down to Ensenada Mexico. They were so easy to handle that we didn't check our bags. Going from a two wheel set to these four wheel bags may have us thinking they are better than they truly are, but I'm sticking to my 5 star until they prove themselves unworthy of my praise. I thought wheeled luggage was the greatest thing since sliced bread, but going to 4 wheels, is like switching from dial up internet service to fiber optics! Honestly, if these only last 3 vacations, I'll feel I got my moneys worth. They still look as if I just unboxed them after the first one, so I'm pretty positive right now. I noticed there are vastly different experiences with these from other users. I guess it's like a lot of merchandise, you have good production/quality days and bad ones. I'm guessing I got a set from a good run. The set has been on 5 flights since the first trip to Mexico and at least 6 driving stays at hotels. The family and a friend has borrowed them for their trips. The airlines are definitely rough on them. All 4 bags are still operational with only the largest one looking a bit worn and the wheels not as free rolling as before. This may be due to my gf putting 75 lbs in it for every trip!!! She always over packs. Still feel I can get several more trips out of these and that I've already gotten my money's worth.

I bought this set in navy blue in 2012 and have flown 3-4 times a year for the past 4 years and travelled by cars far more than that. They still look decent and the handles are bit rickety now, not as smooth to pull up and push down as they used to be but they work. The spinner bases are surprisingly also in working order though a little less stable. This set is well worth the price so I just placed an order for another set as our family has finally outgrown the previous one. This is obviously not high quality like Samsonite but you're getting a lot more pieces for the price and if you're not a frequent traveler these should hold up just fine. While not necessarily a buy it for life item, I can easily see us getting at least 10 years worth of use out of them at the rate with which we have been using them, if not more. For storage and shipping they all nest perfectly inside one another which is my favorite aspect for when we aren't using them.

So pleased! I bought this luggage set to travel out of state and the luggage was easy to maneuver. The wheels didn't stick and there where handles to lift the suitcases both vertically and horizontally as well has having the slide handle to easily pull the luggage. I was pleasantly surprised to find two zippered side pockets inside the suitcase. I used those compartments for lotions, oils, and perfumes and the other for toiletries. These things I could keep private and also not risk the oils soiling my clothes if there is a slight leak. The suitcases are made well, and I love the olive green color that I chose. It will stand out when we travel via air and searching for our bags on the conveyor belt. The price was really good considering each piece has a good amount of room. This set will be shared by both me and my husband. I only needed one of the suitcases to travel. When we take a trip overseas this will be our luggage set to travel with. This was a great buy! My husband was also impressed with the suitcases. Very functional!
