Perfect and works great

A lot of screws under my GM vehicles dash use this 5.5 mm size. The fit was good and the magnets held tight.

The magnet is not strong at all. It can't even hold a small screw.

This item does work as intended but it does have a flaw. It's suppose to have a magnetic tip, and it does, the problem is that the magnet has been pushed too far in and thus it doesn't really hold on to anything.

I had some repair work to do on a vehicle, in a very tight space (as they often are). I had hoped I could find something like a stubby nut driver in the needed size (5.5 mm). I am fairly sure such things exist, as I'd seen other people using them. I couldn't find one. This was the closest thing I could find anywhere, so I spun the wheel and bought a set of them. It took a little doing, but these socket drivers worked out just fine. These don't cost a fortune and they seem reasonably well made. How they'd hold up in the face of more intensive usage, I don't know. I had only this one job to complete, and these got me through it.

For the most part. It works really well, but the magnet in it isn't very strong. It's the only reason it's not getting a five.

I like these and will use them - they could have one significant feature that would make them better, however I was not expecting this feature, therefore I'm fully satisfied with them - but I do think it could be helpful to others to point this out: basically it's not very deep, so you can't tighten a nut onto a bolt if more than a few threads will be exposed past the nut (if that's not an issue for you, get these for sure). To clarify, I'm using these for M3 hex head bolts & nuts. They work perfect on the head - no issues. For the nut, again you can't tighten very far down the shaft of the bolt, so if you need to do that, then these might not be your best option. I'm ok using a wrench to tighten further down the shaft, but would prefer to use this if it was deeper.

The quality of the magnets in the bits are what make it stable and a great bit for just about any 5.5mm screw. The magnets are pressed in not glued in which is a huge bonus for stability and fitment. I've been using it daily with my cordless driver and I love them. Buying more!
