Comfee is a carrier midea brand, manufactured in India under the brand name comfee, but serviced by carrier midea. Pros 1) value for money! 2) minimal / no noise 3) compact, simple, beautiful 4) turbo mode - can rapidly cool even slightly larger rooms. And then you can put the ac back to normal 5) timer - useful for automating switch off 6) memory - when power goes, and it turns off and then turns back on again, it puts itself into the mode and settings it was last used on, automatically. Very useful, else, a single power cut, and you'd end up with a turned off ac. 7) free service for 1 year - 3 monthly, with AMC provided by carrier midea itself, sometimes at discounted prices. 8) very responsive customer care helplines Cons 1) display - its large, so you can see the temperature from a distance, but shows only 2 digits.. So doesn't show full info, So, when you turn on timer /turbo mode, it'll just say on. And then after a few seconds, you'd not know what is on, since the temperature will be on display. 2) auto mode - doesn't function satisfactorily. You'll need to keep it on chill mode. There are times during rain, etc when the ac starts warming the room wrongly deciphering that the temperature is cold. But not a big con, since you can always run it on chill mode. I think this has been circumvented by some brands by using the temperature around the ac remote for deciding what the ambient temperature is. Debatable 1) non inverter : well its in the description, but if you want a comfortable sleep, you'll have to keep the temperature at about 25 or lower and you'll not feel the period of rewarming. 2) installation : most reviews on amazon or elsewhere will express dissatisfaction over this. So i want to make this clear Things you will have to pay for A) Standard installation charges : Rs. 1500, B) ac stand for outdoor unit : Rs. 750 - 1000. Usually the installation person will bring a good and cheap one, so I suggest you refrain from buying it yourself. Also they'll charge Rs. 250 extra anyway for fixing the stand If you don't want an outdoor unit stand, you can keep it on a ledge or floor, accepting some amount of vibration C) extra cable /wiring D) core cutting for thick walls . These are common with installations of all acs by all brands, so please don't fight with them! 3) room size - this is a 1 ton ac, so only for small-medium rooms, you'll have some trouble with larger rooms - although turbo mode can help you out Verdict : must buy! Especially if you are living in a place which has only seasonal requirement for ac - eg bangalore, this is a screaming buy! For perennially hot places, I wonder if the inverter ac would be better since it'd last longer.

AC servicing never done in last year and result its not cooling, can you send technician to service ac so that ac can cool? problem with this ac not working almost complete computer set not working and i contacted seller but they are not taking any action, so my question to amazon that why you advertise such company's product who are selling garbage's/worst products. This company is not good and making money by selling garbage products on your platform and thus you too are responsible for helping such bastard company inn making money

Price to quality is good. I feel the cooling effect is not so effective.

This item is used for room cooling but regret to inform that no sufficient cooling is maintained. It seems that there is leackage or less gas in outer unit of AC. Please send your technician for checking or replace with alternate outer unit. Please treat this as urgent matter and reply accordingly. Your early action will be highly appreciated.

This is a cheaper brand of Carrier AC. Gives adequate cooling and there is no other AC at this price in the market. Using this for more than a Year and no complaints so far. Only negative is that inner unit creates lot of noise when fan is at full speed. Other than that, this is best opportunity to get Carrier brand AC at such a low price.
