To clarify, can i check the temperature of my controller from anywhere even if i’m not on my wifi network? if so, could i change the settings remotely

I am able to check my controller and adjust the settings from just about anywhere as long as I have cell service. They do have to be connected to my home wifi in order to do so but I’ve controlled mine from various places without any issues.

can you leave probe in soil after watering?

The probe of this item is not waterproof. Please use silicone tubing/ heat shrinkable tube to protect the probe.
