Works great for face and for castor oil packs. The benefits for face are amazing. The smell is a little strong, but that is not an issue. It is thick and stays on the face to keep moisture locked. And as far as Castor oil packs go, I use wrapped around my abdomen for detoxing, and it works wonders. It takes care of any bloat I have and helps keep me regular. I have issues with slow digestion/constipation due to a diabetic medication I take and this helps with that issue. I highly recommend it is cost-effective and lasts a long time.

I make my own hair oil to use before I wash my hair (which is twice a week) I have had drier hair and a little more thinning around my face since entering into perimenopause. I use one part jojoba oil, one part castor oil and 10-15 drops of rosemary oil. I have seen a significant difference in hair growth and softness in my hair since starting this a couple of months ago. Consistently is key..I also use castor oil on my face. One part castor oil, one part rose hip seed oil and 10drops of Frankincense. I’ve seen such a difference in my skin texture. My skin is brighter and more even.Theres so much you can do with castor oilThis oil is good quality and very well priced.

Excellent quality castor oil! I’ve tried different castor oils and I like Heritage the best, the color is as it should be and in a dark glass bottle. Consistency is good quality, I’ve been putting this on disposable castor oil patches, mic a few drops with my face cream, use it it directly on my eyelashes and eyebrows(starting t see some growth after 2 weeks), and I gently tap some under my eyes to alleviate dark circles. It’s effective but be patient/consistant, skin stays well hydrated too! I use this in mostly in my night time routine as it would be too oily for daytime unless I use a couple a drop or two with my face cream. I am in my early 50’s and have dry skin.

I've been applying this castor oil on my face/neck consistently for almost a year now, and I don't think I've ever had a better 'skin year'. I've also made other healthy choices, but this was one of them. I love the way my skin absorbs the oil overnight, where it doesn't feel oily in the morning. Some days depending on how I sleep and if I'm too hot, I feel like my face is oily, but after a nice shower (and I'm one of those girls who only uses water on my face), my skin feels great. Hydrated, clean, and fresh. (I add a couple of drops of rose oil as well, it feels really nice)Now, the 'mess' on the pillow and clothes is a different story. I've been putting a small towel on top of my pillow to keep it from getting all over my cover - so I sacrifice sleeping on my smooth pillow case for a cotton towel - all for my beautiful hydrated face. I don't know how couples do it.. my night sleep is not attractive!I've also used this oil on other skin problem areas, like eczema and calluses on my feet. I feel like when you're consistent with it, it helps.. that's usually how most things work!The product itself FEELS good. I love the glass bottle, and how much oil you get for the price. And, the smell is tolerable.. I like to add in tea tree oil and rosehip oil for my hair-masks, which I've also been doing consistently for over a year just about once every 7-10 days. This brand was recommended to me and honestly it lives up to the reputation! However the only down side is the fact that it does not include a pump dispenser! Being a glass bottle and a large one at that, there is an element of glass breakage risk while handling. I absolutely love this brand. I love the bottle. I love the size. It’s probably gonna last me for a very long time. You don’t need much and I also use it to mix in other oils. It’s very rich and very thick so be careful when mixing it. It also takes a while to absorb in, so I often do it after I shower. It makes a nice company to olive oil oil of oregano essential oils. they also took time to make sure they packaged it extremely well. The way it showed up to my house was completely sealed and bubble tape.

Great for skin care, hair care , and achey joints. Not too greasy and absorbs well. No strange castor oil smell wiht this product .
