I was a bit hesitant to try this Honest Dog and Cat Shampoo at first, but after reading so many positive reviews, I decided to give it a shot—and I’m so glad I did. My Bernedoodle has skin issues that cause dandruff, dry skin and itching. I used to purchase medicated shampoo from my vet for 4x the cost of this shampoo. This shampoo is as effective, if not more effective than the stuff I got from my vet and my wife loves the smell. It smells a bit strong when bathing my dog, but after he's dried off the smell mellows and is quite pleasant. My dog smells clean and best of all, he's not scratching all the time. Relief!

I expected it to alleviate my dog's itching and I'm not sure it's sorted the problem entirely (he's due for another check up lol) but it's definitely reduced how much he itches.I have a dog that is sweet, but old that an ex friend dumped on me because she couldn't deal with the dog anymore and here I am stuck with this Great Pyrenees that my kids fell in love with and I was so mad at her for dumping this gross, half dead dog on me and my family... And to make matters worse, the dog had some type of skin condition that she said was fine and under control- welp it wasn't and whatever it was my 1yr old work dog/family pet puppy caught it.🤬I had been looking for ways to help my dog feel better cuz his skin and fur were starting to get crusty.This shampoo is REALLY GOOD!I am impressed. I FINALLY got the gross GP in the bath. He weighs over 100lbs and shakes uncontrollably whenever I try to bathe him. I FINALLY bathed him with this stuff and his crusty gross scabs just started coming off in my hands as I was washing him and nothing got that stuff off before.As a matter of fact, I gave up washing him because he was gross and freaked out every time I tried to bathe him, but he was just too smelly so I HAD To!I can't believe how much it's made a difference. He's not going on his hot spots as much now which is great. It smells decent. It leaves their coat like shockingly soft & sparkly. My dogs are white/tan merle and it's hard to get them to look not dirty. Cuz the merle color is so similar to what fur looks like when it's dirty -Anyway- in conclusion, I'm not sure it's THE BEST anti itch shampoo, but it is fantastic for healing their funky skin stuff!

This stuff gets our dogs really clean and smells amazing. Way better than other shampoos we have tried. Also seems to have helped with some itching.

This shampoo helps a lot on my dogs licking there paws. It smells good and left there hair really soft. Received quickly. And packaging was fine, no leakage

The active ingredients in this shampoo are the same as the prescription version. Our pup had developed some allergic bumps on his skin. A couple applications of this shampoo wiped it all out in two weeks. One caution -- do NOT use on your pet's head. It will injure and burn the heck out of their eyes. Use this shampoo on the legs and bodies only. (This is true of all the medicated shampoos.) Use baby shampoo of their head.

Seems to be effective for cleaning the puppy's ears. She didn't mind it at all. The fragrance is strong and terrible. I haven't decided whether I will continue to use the product. It's been hours and the scent is still brutally strong.Update; After several days the scent is still quite strong. Unfortunately I cannot tolerate it. In the garbage it goes!
