I don't even know where to begin. These books are amazing. It's like Goosebumps for 5-10 year olds. This author came to my son's school. We bought his first book in this series. After reading, I knew we had to have all of them! We went through them one after another.

As stated, great gift idea for your kids to keep them entertained. My son loves these books, he read the whole seat within 2 weeks, he's now onto diary of wimpy kid. But these got his attention in school and they got him to read a lot more.

I teach 2nd grade and I am constantly looking for book series to hook reluctant readers. This series is great for all students. I read the first book out-loud and allow the students to free read the remainder of the series. The binding has withheld multiple second graders reading. I highly recommend this series. I enjoyed reading the books out-loud and if time permitted would have read more to my students.

My kids absolutely love these books! As soon as they were delivered, my 8 year old took the books and read through them all, back to back. Now, we are re-reading them as a family with my 5 year old. The stories are funny and engaging, and the monsters are not so scary that they create nightmares. We're on the 13th book, and I'm excited to see how this series concludes, too! We're now challenging our kids to try creating their own monster entries for a Notebook of Doom of their own!

My son hasn't particularly enjoyed reading until he started this series. He wants to read now which is priceless after struggling to have him read. The books have just enough pictures in them and the layout is cute. He knows about 90% of the words and can sound out the remaining 10% on his own. Thankful to have found this series.

I purchased these books for my grandsons 8th birthday. He was very excited to see the books! In fact he now reads the books to his 5 year old brother! This is a wonderful series, it shows kids that a lot of people have fears and they can deal with these fears themselves. It shows that parents and teachers can also help. It's just a lot of fun for my grandsons.
