This dryer costs more than many, but it delivers what it promises. It is a real ceramic dryer, so it will be heavier. That is the nature of the beast. However, not so much you won't enjoy using it. We're talking a few ounces. The heat is great and dries the hair quickly, yet absent carelessness you won't damage your hair in the process. Drying other things, say splashed water on your shirt, is equally fast. The buttons are sliders and a more focused effort is required to operate, but then you aren't accidentally turning the high heat on when you want a cooler heat and you won't turn it on and off as you move the dryer in your hand. Great product. Well worth the money.

I’m a fan of hot tools brand and the blow dryer did not disappoint.

I have afro, tightly coiled hair(the size of a pen tip), thick, natural, 5 inch hair and since my hair has gotten longer, I need to use heat to dry it faster. I decided after researching, that this was the best dryer for my money. I wanted a dryer with these attachments and of ionic or titanium technology. This dryer dries very quickly. I did a blow out on towel dried hair on medium heat, high speed in 10 min! My hair was also shiny afterwards. It may sound weird, but whenever I used this dryer, my hair is much softer than it usually is with out it or airdried. I don't ever use the high setting, and the medium setting does just fine. My only complaints are the side switches, as one reviewer noted, can be easily changed during use. I try to place my thumb between the switches to avoid this. Also, it can get a bit heavy if you have extended use, so luckily it only took 10 min to dry my entire head.

This is not for black people hair. It's hot but doesn't straighten or blow dry well. The comb is terrible and hard to come off do not buy

As a hairdresser, I have used several dryers. This is the best one I’ve used on a budget. It’s lightweight, the heat is good at its highest setting and perfect at the lowest. It’s easy to clean and can take a beating.

Drys my hair quickly, can get some lift to my hair, like the long cord. Been using for awhile now and very satisfied and recommend the dryer highly.

The dryer is a nice dryer with good settings of cool shot, warm and hot as well as high and low speeds. The cons are that the handle gets too hot sometimes even after a short while using it. Also the buttons are placed on the handle and it becomes a bit annoying because when holding the dryer you tend to shut them off at times. Cord isn't the greatest. Cord broke as of 9/16/2017 from average use, not even twisting it up around the dryer as most people do. Almost electricuted me while I was drying my hair.

Love it , does the job , which it was lighter.

The only problem with this hair dryer is the placement of the controls..It is awkward to hold without touching the controls that changes the settings while drying your hair. You may want high heat but as your drying you accidentally change the setting to cool...or change from high speed to low speed. Could be better designed.....On the plus side it dries hair fast without over drying to fizz. My hair looks healthier since using this dryer.

This is a good product. I haven’t experienced any problems.
